“Critics have also questioned where Islam endorses the Taliban’s strict policies, particularly those banning women and girls from work and education.”
That’s a reasonable point, but will these critics address Islam’s deeply ingrained misogyny, which led the Taliban to ban women from work and education in the first place?
“Taliban urges Muslim nations to emulate its ‘Sharia-based system,’” Amu TV, August 25, 2024 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Taliban’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has called on Muslim nations worldwide to “take inspiration from the Taliban’s system” and establish what he describes as “Sharia-based systems” in their own nations.
In a recent interview with a UK-based Islamic news organization, Mujahid dismissed the Taliban’s critics as ignorant, claiming that those who label the group as “oppressors and tyrants” lack a proper understanding of religion. “Muslims must first learn their religion,” Mujahid argued. “Once they understand, they will recognize the Islamic Emirate [Taliban] and no longer call us oppressors or tyrants.”
However, human rights defenders have pushed back against Mujahid’s remarks, accusing the Taliban of using religion to justify what they describe as three years of atrocities since the group’s takeover of Afghanistan. “The Taliban are trying to justify their recent three years of crimes under the name of implementing Sharia,” said Maryam Maroof Arwin, a human rights activist. Critics have also questioned where Islam endorses the Taliban’s strict policies, particularly those banning women and girls from work and education. “Knowledge is obligatory for both men and women,” one Kabul resident noted, challenging the Taliban’s interpretation of Islamic principles….
“The Taliban are seeking to expand conflict and insecurity under the pretext of religion beyond Afghanistan’s borders and to pressure Islamic countries that have not recognized the group’s self-proclaimed government,” Arwin added….

It’s not every religion whose written “holy” works support the range of gentle Baha’i to thuggish Taliban. It seems to reflect Muhammad’s two periods of first, friendly persuasion then changing to militant conquest when the convert rate was getting thin.

mozlums accept only islam as a ‘religion.’
If one knows what islam demands, and disagrees, then any devout mozlum …such as this afghan…is going to see that as ‘not having a proper understanding of **religion**.
To him, a ‘proper understanding of religion,’ means one will accept what he and the other murderous and hate filled afghans are doing to the lives, the welfare, of the women and girls in his country.

The call by the Taliban to have use them as an example have Muslims install Sharia in their Islamic nations shows just how conceited and also blind they really are to the evils of their Islamic law.. The reason why this is so because they, with their brutal cruel oppressive and even murderous Sharia based misogyny are actually a good reason reject Sharia for Muslim countries .
To give only one example of this out of many reason ,even a very mild example by Sharia standards.
The Taliban have banned women from the university because the Islam is a religion of oppressive misogyny and their regime in Afghanistan is based on Islam with its Sharia.
The Taliban want the women trapped in Afghanistan to under the darkness tyranny and oppression of Sharia. Therefore, they ban them from receiving an education.
As Thomas Jefferson had, so wisely, declared “Enlighten the people, generally, and tyranny and oppression of body and mind will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day.”

The call of the Taliban to use them as example as a catalyst for Muslims to establish Sharia in their own countries is actually ,in reality , a call by the Taliban to install ancient pagan law in their nations .
This is because the actual origin of Sharia had been revealed in a Time –Life book with the title MESOPOTAMIA: THE MIGHTY KINGS copyright 1995 ” For that future history book about the ancient pagan world of Mesopotamia informs the reader that “many Islamic laws resemble the Babylon and Assyrian forebears.” .page 150.

Yeah, why doesn’t the OIC send envoys to Afghanistan to take lessons from the Taliban on how to establish a shariah regime?
Btw, note to the Taliban: Bangladesh is already there. The Hefazat-ul-islami guys had a slogan “We’ll be the Taliban, Bangladesh will be Afghanistan”

Because of the lack of education and internet infrastructure in Afghanistan, Afghan people still adhere to Islam unlike in Iran. However if the Taliban style or Iranian style applied in more developed countries like Malaysia or Egypt, people will leave Islam in abundant.
So, be my guest, please implement the Taliban style in such countries

Actually, the reason islam is stronger in Afghanistan than Iran is that Iran did have a pre-islamic religion of its own – Zoroastrianism, even though its founder was born in Balkh/Zaripsa: Zarathustra was clearly Persian and not a native Pashto/Turk. By contrast, the religions that Afghanistan had before islam – Buddhism and earlier Hinduism – neither were founded in that country
People tend to be more fond of native born faiths, assuming all else equal and assuming that they don’t drift towards Atheism or Agnosticism, nor are held back by filial piety, as Hugh used to put it. Persia had one. India(n subcontinent had 4), Turan had one that they shared w/ Mongolia (Shamanism/Tengri). Afghanistan by contrast, had none
Ultimately, I think that countries like Iran, Afghanistan, et al, if they ever throw off islam, are likely to end up like the Czech Republic – largely atheist. The Czech Republic threw off communism in 1989, but to this day, the majority of people remain atheist: they never reverted to Christianity. Similarly, in the -stans, even 30 years after independence, islam hasn’t really made a comeback, although we do occasionally read about some jihadists from these countries, and from Russia itself

Why the people think Taliban is unislamic? What they do is based on the dunged quran and the hadith. I believe that if Muslims still want to stay in islam they should all follow Taliban. But sadly the West is still going to empower them. Those idiots who scream “phobia” should go and live under Taliban.
