The Finsbury Park terror suspect tried to kill himself six weeks ago by jumping into a river and begged to be sectioned….his sister Nicola, 50, said Osborne was a deeply troubled individual who apparently tried to steal from his blind 90-year-old great-grandfather….He stabbed a car and cut the nerves on two of his fingers.
It is terribly unfortunate what happened in Finsbury Park, but Darren Osborne has a history of mental illness. There are those who try to claim that jihadis are mentally ill, too, but the fundamental difference is that there is no group other than jihadis that is everywhere attempting to conquer the globe with justifications from religious edicts.
The leftist-jihadist alliance will continue to do all it can to try to make a false case that this is a terrorist attack, which it is not. It is an isolated incident. Statistics on human rights abuses by Islamic states under Sharia, the jihadist violence globally, the history of conquests, and continued efforts toward the same prove the difference between a calculated drive toward conquering the House of War (and abuses against infidels and apostates) and an isolated attack by a mentally ill man who was self-admittedly aggravated by an Islamic supremacist incursion.
“Finsbury Park terror suspect ‘tried to kill himself six weeks ago by throwing himself into a Cardiff river and begged to be sectioned’, his sister claims”, by Nick Fagge, Martin Robinson, and Tom Burrows, MailOnline, June 20, 2017:
The Finsbury Park terror suspect tried to kill himself six weeks ago by jumping into a river and begged to be sectioned, according to his sister.
Darren Osborne, 47, is accused of ploughing into worshippers in North London in the early hours of Monday morning before jumping out and shouting: ‘I’m going to kill all Muslims – I did my bit’.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, his sister Nicola, 50, said Osborne was a deeply troubled individual who apparently tried to steal from his blind 90-year-old great-grandfather….
Speaking after their mother said she was not ‘going to defend’ her son when she described the incident as an ‘atrocity’, his sister said her brother was ‘never normal’.
She said: ‘He never learned not to react. He stabbed a car and cut the nerves on two of his fingers. And he never got that treated so his fingers are a bit strange. He broke both of his ankles so he walks a bit funny….
But she revealed that her younger brother had been suicidal in recent weeks, and had asked to be taken into psychiatric care following the latest break-up with his on-off partner Sarah Andrews, 42.
Ms Osborne told MailOnline: ‘He tried to kill himself six, eight weeks ago. He threw himself into the river in Cardiff.
‘He asked to be taken into care, to be sectioned but they wouldn’t do it. He was on anti-depressants. He came to see me after he tried to kill himself. He showed me the bump on his head. I don’t know how he got out of the river, or really what happened.’…

I hope these facts make the news.

They won’t. The MSM and leftists do not care about facts.

Well, they did make the Daily Mail.

When I read the news yesterday I said to myself this man must be MAD to do something as stupid as that. No need for a psychiatric assessment because it is obvious.
If this man is against Islam, then his action is a much needed gift to Islam, Muslims and their allies in the media establishment. The incident will be referred to for years to come to help the Muslims’ agenda.
On the other hand, Europeans who do not get mad at what is happening to their countries, must be really mad.
Donald R Laster Jr says
The difference that the excuse maker will continue to make is that Islamics are not mentally ill. They are following the very specific teachings of Islam.

Noticed it did not read correctly.

So, l assume that ISIS salute he’s making is one of his damaged fingers?
Weird.
Ashley says
Hmmm…
Keen observation, Overman.
Kay says
They took that gesture, like so many other things.
We use our index finger with so many meanings.
My guess is that they had a hard time finding a photo of him. He may have been doing any number of things while the photo was snapped.
overman says
Yes Kay, probably nothing to it.
Although, the chance of them finding one that has an ISIS salute must be a million to one – unless this guy is actually an lslamic convert. But l’m not jumping on the conspiracy train just yet lol..
Ashley says
Kay…I’m not at all convinced that Darren Osborne is exhibiting an innocent, innocuous finger gesture in the photo.
He is a grown man…not 15 years-old.
I never noticed the finger gesture before. In the photos I saw prior, the gesture was cropped out or I totally missed it.
Like Overman…I’m not on the conspiracy train.
Yet…
Kay says
Well, I really don’t know of course. It seems Mohammedens are skilled at finding broken people to use.
But I hate the way they give different meanings to words, and the first person I knew who regularly used an upraised finger was a church musician, an ardent Christian, who deflected praise of her music to give God the glory for giving the gift.
Carolyne says
This man’s name might be Osborne, but the public is lied to so much by the British, I am not even sure of that. He is holding up the one finger ISIS sign. Maybe he is who they say he is, maybe not. The British government wants so badly to have a non-Muslim terrorist, that I would put nothing past them.

The moslums will have none of this! That is their excuse and it can’t be used by someone who is truly mentally ill as a *reason.* Their *cause* and their goals must have this.
I feel sympathy, esp for his family. It must be a terrible thing to have seen it happening to a loved one. No mother…other than those of islum…raises a son to do such things.
Perhaps now he can get treatment.
Mockingjay says
You’re right somehistory, being VIOLENT because of “mental illness”, is very much, a muslim’s prerogative, – and they sure can’t have kuffar who attack muslims claiming the same, because that would thoroughly spoil their victimhood, while allowing attention to non-muslim’s suffering at the same time.
Can’t have that!
Walter Sieruk says
That terrible person, in London, in his van who deliberately ran into those Muslims is a man who is both criminal and despicable.
This essay author, keyboarded, as someone who understands that there are many things wrong with Islam. Nevertheless I still strongly denounce that man’s violence and his vicious hate. For It’s crucial to ,very much ,comprehend that Muslims are not Islam. Likewise it’s also important for Westerners not to sink to the low level of the jihadist/Muslims by engaging violence. Therefore the way to handle the problem of Islam is not by violence but by the use of reason .Thus the following write- up might serve as an example of the use of reason as a toll to expose the errors of Islam using the power not of brute might, but of logic on the topic of the Quran , which is the entire foundation of and for Islam.
A claim by Islamic scholars as well as jihadists is that no one can produce something as beautiful as the Quran in the way the words are arranged and thus it can only be of God. This claim should be answered.
First, all someone has to do is examine some of the great works of literature to fine much written beauty. Such as the Greek epic poet Homer with his Iliad and Odyssey and then Virgil who produced the Aeneid has beauty. Even one of the non-Bible books in the Apocrypha called The Song of Three Children is also very beautiful. Thus just because someone sees a work that is written in great beauty doesn’t mean it’s inspired by God.
Second, the scholar Edward Gibbon wrote after an examination of the Quran that it is an “incoherent jumble of fable and precept and declamation which seldom excites a sentiment or an idea, sometimes craws in the dust and is sometimes lost in the clouds…” The writer Thomas Carlyle wrote the Quran is “A wearisome jumble, crude, incondite [with] endless iterations [and] long-windedness…” Likewise, the philosopher David Hume was NOT favorably impressed after reading the Quran.
[Source of the three scholars mentioned – Secrets of The Koran: Revealing Insight Into Islam’s Holy Book .56,66, by Don Richardson]
Furthermore, the following should be taken into consideration. Of course the Muslim who reads the Quran will see great beauty in the way the words are arranged. This is, in part, because of the power of suggestion after being told so many times that the Quran is so beautifully written. That’s an old brainwashing method, repeating and being told that same thing again and again. Since he or she is always being told the same lie will end up believing that lie. In addition to that, the Imams try to discourage their people from reading other works, such as the Bible, so then they don’t have much or anything to compare or contrast the Quran with. Of course there are some Muslim’s that do read other works, but they are exceptions and they read other things only after they were already brainwashed by the Imams. In short, the Muslims can’t read the Quran objectively because their Imams have programmed them to have a strong bias towards it.
gravenimage says
Walter, the Qur’an is actually violent, incoherent in parts, and ham-fistedly repetitive.
*Many* things are more beautiful than the depressing Qur’an, including–and you noted some of these–most classical poetry, the Bible, and most romantic poetry.
But Muslims will never accept any of these examples–they consider the Qur’an “beautiful” because it tells Muslims they are the “best of people” and tells them that abusing others is the will of Allah.
Donald R Laster Jr says
Remember, that what was written earlier in the Qur’an is superseded by that which was written later. The order of the “books” in the Qur’an are order by length – longest to shortest. And that was probably done to hide, deceive, the fact all of the “make friends” text was replaced with “kill or subjugate”.
PRCS says
“Of course the Muslim who reads the Quran will see great beauty in the way the words are arranged. This is, in part, because of the power of suggestion after being told so many times that the Quran is so beautifully written. That’s an old brainwashing method, repeating and being told that same thing again and again.”
And the consequences of leaving Islam.
Defeating the ideology—if that is even possible—isn’t going to happen by next Saturday.
Carolyne says
Since Muslims are incapable of reason, your long post, Mr. Sieruk.. I do not think the Koran beautiful, I find it disgusting. The way the words are arranged makes no sense. Of course, I can read only the English version, so maybe you can read it in its original Arabic and find something beautiful in” When you meet the unbeliever, strike his neck.” I don’t.
Also trying to empathize with them and eating their food is a foolish notion. The Jihadis who rampage around the world, causing death and mayhem, are obeying the Koran to the letter. That has no beauty.
Ashley says
Not sure I buy Nicola’s account…at least not as presented.
Her brother attempts suicide by tossing his ass into a river in Cardiff. He asks to be sanctioned so as to receive psychiatric care. He is denied.
That doesn’t sound right.
Here in the US the despondent that exhibit/express suicidal ideations are immediately assessed…often involuntarily. They pose a danger to themselves and possibly others.
It is in the interest of public safety that such an issue be addressed.
I don’t believe Nicola’s account.

Did you rad the news account of the pregnant mother of four who answered her door with a knife and was shot dead by two police officers? She was known to have mental issues, but she was not hospitalized.
That is one reason there are so many homeless. The mentally ill don’t always get the help they need, and sometimes, the need changes.
Ashley says
According to his sister, Darren Osborne ASKED to be sanctioned in an effort to seek psychiatric help.
Did the woman you reference do the same?
gravenimage says
Ashley, I’m afraid sometimes it is difficult for people in the US to get psychiatric care, as well–sometimes to tragic effect. Here is just one story, from the Washington Post:
“Psychiatric Care Denied To Gunman, Attorney Says”
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/05/25/AR2006052502000.html
In the three months before he fatally shot two Fairfax County police officers, Michael W. Kennedy and his parents tried numerous times to get him immediate psychiatric help, their attorney said. Four times, Kennedy was sent home without getting help, and two mental health facilities told them not to bother coming in at all.
On one occasion, Kennedy, 18, who by this time claimed he was talking to God and was threatening suicide, was voluntarily admitted to a mental health facility in Rockville. But after several hours, he left of his own accord and carjacked a vehicle to return home to Fairfax.
“This young man was crying out for help,” said Richard F. MacDowell Jr., the attorney for Brian and Margaret Kennedy, Michael Kennedy’s parents. “On at least five occasions, they sought mental health services and were turned away. I can’t think of another case that would be this compelling as to how ineffective our mental health system has become.”
…
I imagine the situation is sometimes not dissimilar in Britain.

“begged to be sectioned” What the heck is that supposed to mean? Some kind of British expression?
Baucent says
Means he wanted to be detained as a patient under the Mental Health Act. The problem is in the modern world of Mental Health the philosophy is to keep ill people “in the community” as the experts believe they are better off there. Unfortunately that often is not the case and people who are not coping can find it a bureaucratic obstacle course to be accepted back into a Mental Hospital. This may have been the predicament this guy was in.
Anne Smith says
Yes, there is a great reluctance to put people into protective custody in mental homes for mental health problems. “Care in the Community” is presented by all governments as being better for the patient, actually it is because it is a lot better for the Government’s budget if the occupants of mental health care homes are turfed out and have to care for themselves with medication provided by the local health facilities.
This is why we have frequent murders committed by insane people on innocent bystanders because they have not had their medication, or should be inside to protect the public from their dangerous presence. It all boils down to money.
billybob says
Thanks for explaining that.

He begged to be sectioned under the Mental Health Act, ie detained in a psychiatric facility. The man who stabbed Jo Cox, and almost lost us the Brexit vote, also begged for psychiatric help a short time before committing that crime, to no avail.

Finsbury Park mosque is the hub of jihadism in Britain. Somehow they will turn this attack into a justification for retribution. Retribution is normative Islam.

SO I have heard that the FInsbury mosque was associated with extremism. Perhaps Osborne just “flipped” after the London Bridge attack?
I do not condone the violence committed, and extend sympathy to the family of the person killed. However, while I hope I’m wrong in my assessment of the Finsbury mosque, they seem to have been asking for something like this for a long time, given its own history of aiding and abetting extremism.

Jayell says
Nick Griffin (former BNP leader) noted that the kind of suppression involved in being forced to accommodate an invasion of an incompatible demographic without being allowed to give play to the normal collective defence mechanism results in a form of mental illness that could manifest as collective or individual depression or paranoia similar to the psychological consequences of being trapped in an abusive relationship. This is the situation that a lot (probably most) indigenous UK citizens find themselves in and would explain why the Finsbury Park event could be viewed as not only a long overdue retaliation against an abusive invader but also a manifestation of a disorder induced by the invader. Clearly the limits of tolerance have been well and truly passed and any attempt to either enact further suppression, glibly smooth over this symptom or (worse still) justify or promote the demographic element responsible for inducing this situation can now only inflame matters further. It would appear that we now have an active dynamic for serious social unrest and no amount of official manipulation is going to stop or divert the forces that have now come into play. The blame clearly lies with those who promoted an unsustainable situation that has no logical justification and the only realistic remedy is the removal.of the incompatible demographic element that is causing this serious dysfunction.
