This is the classic dhimmi mentality, the mindset of those who have been subjugated for so long under Muslim hegemony that they can’t imagine viewing the world in any other way. For centuries, Christians in Muslim lands were inculcated with the idea that if they criticized Islam in any way, even the slightest negative word, they would be killed. They got used to praising their masters and overlords, however contrary to fact the praise may have been, simply as a matter of survival. Then the Arab nationalist movement, which was begun in large part by Christian Arabs as an attempt to place themselves on equal footing with the Muslims on a secular and ethnic basis, thereby mitigating the institutionalized discrimination of the Sharia, resulted only in the Christian Arab communities completely adopting Muslim political perspectives, and identifying themselves with the jihad agenda.
Meanwhile, the Ottoman policy of keeping the dhimmi communities mutually antagonistic, so as to guard against the possibility of their uniting in revolt against their masters, followed by the Arab nationalist unity of the Christians with the Muslims as Arabs opposed to Zionism, both reinforced Christian antisemitism.
These attitudes have perdured through generations. This is the result. If these Christian leaders in Jerusalem could free themselves from their mind-forged manacles and look at the situation objectively, they would realize that the Islamic agenda requires their subjugation no less than it requires that of the Jews, and they would unite with the Israelis in an alliance for their mutual freedom. Instead, this.
“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14)
“Catholic Churches in Jerusalem Blame Israel for Muslim Violence, Deny Biblical Roots of Temple Mount,” by Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz, Breaking Israel News, July 23, 2017 (thanks to Cheryl):
Amid the intensifying battles surrounding the Temple Mount, the Catholic Church expressed its concerns in terms that placed the blame entirely on Israel while referring to the site exclusively by its Muslim name. One bishop stated in an interview on Vatican Radio that there has, in fact, been no Palestinian violence.
On Sunday, Pope Francis addressed the crowd gathered in the Vatican’s St. Peter’s Square, telling them that he viewed “with trepidation the grave tensions and violence” surrounding the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
“I feel the need to express a distressed appeal for moderation and dialogue,” the Pope said, calling on the people to pray for the sake of Jerusalem.
The violence the Pope is referring to began ten days ago when three Palestinian terrorists murdered two Druze Israeli policemen while they guarded the entrance to the Temple Mount. The Israeli police entered the site and, after a gunbattle, killed the three terrorists.
The Israeli government closed the site to all visitors until Sunday, when it reopened to Muslims with increased security measures that included walk-through metal detectors. The Islamic Waqf, the Muslim trust which controls the Temple Mount, called for a boycott of the site. Muslim crowds rioted last week and three Palestinians were killed in clashes with Israeli police.
On Friday night, a Palestinian, citing the situation at the Temple Mount as his motivation, entered the town of Halamish. There, he murdered a 70-year-old grandfather and his middle-aged son and daughter while they sat at their Sabbath table. He also seriously wounded the 68-year-old grandmother.
In the wake of the growing violence, the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem released a statement. Signed by the heads of all 13 Christian communities in Jerusalem, it condemned the recent escalation of violence at the Temple Mount, but did so in language that clearly favored the Palestinians and condemned Israel. The statement referred to the site by its Arabic names, disregarding any Jewish or Christian connection to the site.
“We, the Heads of Churches in Jerusalem, express our serious concern regarding recent escalation in violent developments around Haram ash-Sharif and our grief for the loss of human life and strongly condemn any act of violence,” the statement read.
The statement said that the violence was due solely to a change in the status quo, i.e. placing metal detectors at the entrances to the Temple Mount.
“We are worried about any change to historical (Status Quo) situation in al-Aqsa Mosque (Haram ash-Sharif) and its courtyard, and in the holy city of Jerusalem. Any threat to its continuity and integrity could easily lead to serious and unpredictable consequences, which would be most unwelcome in the present tense religious climate.
“We value the continued custody of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy places in Jerusalem and the Holy Land which guarantees the right for all Muslims to free access and worship to al Aqsa Mosque according to the prevailing Status Quo.
“We renew our call that the historical Status Quo governing these sites be fully respected, for the sake of peace and reconciliation to the whole community, and we pray for a just and lasting peace in the whole region and all its peoples.”
The statement made no mention of the Muslim terror attack that led to Israel placing the metal detectors at the entrances to the site. Nor did it refer to the horrific Palestinian terror attack on Friday….

Some Christian and Catholic scholars think the Kotel-Wailing Wall is actually the remnant of a wall from Jerusalem’s Roman legions fortress, the Fort Antonia fortress and that the actual Jewish Temple is elsewhere, at the area positioned over and around the Gihon Spring. The positive side of this theory is the Temple can be rebuilt without political fallout.
I myself have prayed at the Kotel in Jerusalem thinking the Jews know best where their temple is.
The foremost proponent of this idea, that the Walling wall is Fort Antonia is Ernest L. Martin, PH.D.
As a member of an Indian Faith I am sympathetic to the Jews as many Hindus, Sikh and Buddhist holy places were/are occupied by mosques and a triumphant declaration of Muslim power. Just as Bethlehem has a mosque across the street from the church of the Nativity, Hindu holy sites in the most sacred places still have mosques on them. The Sikhs just ripped the offending mosques down when they reconquered their lands from Islam.
The protest is just Muslim B.S., there are security gates in Mecca and Medina, as well as the Wailing Wall. To get into a shopping mall in Israel you have to go thru a metal detector and security guard bag check.
It is only by the demonstration of power and control that Muslims will respect and stop their non-sense. The Israelis were wrong to leave the Temple Mount under the control of Jordan and Muslim authorities.

Good post.
Final two paragraphs are very, very important.
“The protest is just Muslim B.S., there are security gates in Mecca and Medina, as well as the Wailing Wall. To get into a shopping mall in Israel you have to go thru a metal detector and security guard bag check.
“It is only by the demonstration of power and control that Muslims will respect and stop their non-sense.
“The Israelis were wrong to leave the Temple Mount under the control of Jordan and Muslim authorities.”
EXACTLY.
Hari Singh – I assume you are in India?
Please: write to Israeil PM Benjamin Netanyahu, identifying yourself as a pro-Israel citizen of Mother India, and make just those points that I have highlighted here, from your post. Be polite, be clear, and express your solidarity with Israel (begin by offering condolences for the latest victims of Jihad – the two loyal Israeli Druze cops murdered by Muslims coming from the Mosque on the Temple Mount; and the three Israeli Jews who were murdered at their sacred Sabbath meal). Encourage Israel to *rescind* the decision and install BOTH metal detectors and… **sniffer dogs** at ALL entrances to the Temple Mount. Tell them that they CANNOT and MUST NOT back down in the face of mohammedan tantrums; they must be ‘the strong horse’, because.. that is the only thing that makes an impression on mohammedans.
ALSO: please write briefly to your *own* Prime Minister Modi and encourage him to publicly stand with Israel and support them and tell them NOT to back down when confronted by mohammedan rages and rioting (of which India has only too frequent experience). They need to know that *someone* has their back.
And… write to President Trump. Make exactly the same points. Israel *must* be able to secure the Temple Mount and prevent *anyone* from bringing weaponry into the sacred precinct. The ONLY way to be sure of that is to have 1/ metal detectors (exactly as used all over the world wherever heightened security is rational and necessary) and 2/.. sniffer dogs (to prevent, for example, *explosives* from being smuggled in).
Israel CAN and SHOULD reverse this disastrous capitulation to mohammedan nonsense-and-lies.
The Mohammedans got this capitulation by playing the ‘hostage game’. But now the Israelis have their man back – the Israel Embassy security guy whom the damn Jordanians arrested and used as a *bargaining chip* after the Israeli embassy was attacked and said security guy shot one of the *attackers* – there is NO necessity for the Israelis to honour the bargain… because the sh*t-head mohammedans NEVER keep agreements with Infidels anyway, so why the H*LL should infidels be expected to keep agreements with Mohammedans?? It’s time the damned mohammedans got a dose of bedonebyasyoudid. Let them shriek. They are barbarians – they laugh when they are hurting us, they HOWL if anyone *dares* to so much as pinch their little toe or look at them funny, and it’s disgusting.

PS From two entirely different sources, two statements by Infidel writers, one anonymous, in China, and one the sixth President of the United States, on the subject of the necessity of the use of *force* when dealing with the rabid mohammedan mob.
“If politeness and ceremony be observed toward Mohammedans, they imagine they are feared and become arrogant; but in showing severity and rudeness, they are impressed with fear and respect, and they are supple and manageable.” – North China Herald,1867

Now, the second quote, from John Quincy Adams, writing in 1829.
“AS THE ESSENTIAL PRINCIPLE of his [Mohammed’s] faith is the subjugation of others by the sword; it is only by force, that his false doctrines can be dispelled, and his power annihilated.” – from his ‘Unsigned Essays on the Russo-Turkish War and the Greek War of Independence”, in “The American Annual Register for the Years 1827-8-9 (New York: E. & G.W. Recommended! (Read pages 267-402 which are the two essays by John Quincy Adams. Then… share them around amongst your English-reading friends in India. JQA had got the measure of Islam, none better. )
One may note that Adams was not naturally a trigger-happy war-monging type. He was a very, very erudite, prudent and decent man. If *he* had reached the conclusion that Mohammedanism/ Islam can *only* be dealt with ‘by the sword’, then he is not saying it lightly but at the end of much careful consideration).

The concept of a Pope is a fake, at best he is the Bishop of Rome one of the five patriarchs. When the church councils were called, that defined dogma for the majority of Christians [Catholic and Orthodox] they were called by the Eastern Roman Emperor.
None of the Patriarchs of Rome, Antioch, Alexandria, Mt. Sinai & Constantinople had the power to assemble the Bishops only the Roman Emperor, so the Pope is not the head of christianity only the Bishop of Rome.
Besides, the present “love Islam” Pope contradicts all the Popes of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. They would consider him a heretic.
PATRICIA FRANCES KOENIG says
Hari Singh, you are correct about the popes of the Middle Ages…they would denounce Francis as a heretic. Francis was not validly elected. He is an anti-pope; the False Prophet of Revelations. However, your defective rationalization does not adequately address the Great Commission and the Bible when Christ made Peter the Rock upon which He built His Church. Besides, Scripture and Tradition proving the validity of the papacy…common sense does so also. This is not ignorance. They know exatly what they are doing. Their strategy is to take control of the Temple Mount, based on the argument that no Jews nor Muslims are able to do take care of the site. Israel and Jerusalem are Jewish. The Vatican is Catholic and the Mecca is Muslim (after Muhammad slaughter of all the Jews who lived there, but anyway). Muslims have 57 countries. Even more countries are Christian. Japan is Shinto. Israel is Jewish.

I am a Christian, practising within the Anglican Communion in Australia. *All* strands of Christianity are a mixed bag at present, with dhimmis and non-dhimmis mixed in together – wheat and weeds.
*I* regard the Temple Mount as an ancestral Jewish/ Israelite/ Hebrew sacred site and I would be *delighted* for the Israelis to assert and exercise full sovereignty over it: this is about justice and truth. It belongs to the Jews, to the House of Israel, for whom it was a sacred site for millennia before the Arab imperial cult of blood and war, ritual murder/ human sacrifice and rape, slavery and theft – that is, Islam – was cooked up by a megalomaniac (or megalomaniacs). The mohammedans do not have a shred of a claim to it. Modern Israel *liberated* it – and the rest of the Old City of Jerusalem, also jam-packed full of ancient Hebrew and Jewish antiquities and history, not forgetting the incredibly ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives – in fair fight, in a war of *self-defence*. And that should have been that.
The *western* world should have had the guts to back victorious Israel up and *encourage* them to kick the waqf OFF the mount, demolish all mohammedan structures (or, to mollify the archaeologists, carefully take them apart lego-style and pack them up in boxes for removal to dar al Islam), and then unapologetically treat the site, and all the rest of the Old City then liberated from Mohammedan imperialist invaders and occupiers, *and* Judea and Samaria, similarly liberated, as an integral part of sovereign eretz Yisroel.
The Temple Mount, the Mount of Olives, the Old city (with its 48 synagogue sites and umpteen other sites of ancient historic Jewish / Hebrew significance, all long predating any Arab or Islamic invader/ squatter presence there), AND the military high ground of Judea and Samaria, the Mountains of Israel (nOT ‘the west bank’), are not ‘occupied’. They are, rather, *liberated*, exactly as Spain and Greece were liberated, from mohammedan imperialist occupiers.
John S. Obeda says
DDA: I too wish that the Jews would be in complete control of the land which originally Yahweh had given them. But it seems to me that, since the Jews as a nation rejected the Messiah that God had promised them for their salvation, Jesus, perhaps, doesn’t care much anymore that the Jews have what they used to have. But, at least He cares enough that at least some children of Abraham and Judea and Benjamin would enjoy what they have. But we Gentiles certainly should help the Jews to hold on to what He has permitted them to now have. It is upsetting that the Islamists are so ignorant of Biblical history that they really believe that they have some claim to the land that the true God, Yahweh, had promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. . . . Thank you for your post.

The Pope is quite a trendy, and obviously has locked on to the posse of scholars rewriting biblical history. Rather than use his new found knowledge to debunk the prank mhmmd played on the folk around him, with a lot of help from the fifth Caliph et al, Francis appears to take the view that East and West should be divided, electing to lose Christianity for the recompense of destroying the fake State Israel. Fake because it is not occupied by Israelites. The Pope is not a true Christian, that much is clear from the style of his Papacy, which Office anyway has generally struggled to properly extol Christian teachings, let alone values. Papal outpourings reveal a way is open for change, which must be grasped, to reignite religious principles in line with human advancement. The same route allows for a blocking up of “revealed religions” .. the permanent closure of them being the choice measure for humanity. The religious fraud is exposed. Truly moderate human beings no longer need be castigated, abused or otherwise invalidly controlled by those of Mankind beset by incorrect value systems.

The armies were the “disgusting thing” and they caused “destruction.”
But it is a prophecy that has another fulfillment.
moslums are also causing “destruction”…they are indeed “disgusting>’ So are those who have chosen to stand with them and defend them in their destruction of Jerusalem…as well as many other places on earth. Are you trying to peddle the silly Ashkenazi = Khazar line? It’s nonsense. People have not been able to find a shred of credible historical – OR DNA – evidence.
In any case, there *are* Jews, in Israel, whose forebears *never left the place*. They hung on, by teeth and toenails, enduring the seven hells of dhimmitude.
Also: HALF the population of modern Israel is composed of ‘middle eastern’ Jews, who were driven out of Egypt, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq… *They* never left ‘the middle east’. They never lived in ‘europe’. They are non-European and they are middle eastern.
And the genetics says that they and the Ashkenazi and Sephardi are more closely related to each other than to anybody else… while *all* of them are also readily identifiable as having ‘middle eastern’ affinities. There was *some* intermarriage with non-jewish people… due to said non-Jews *marrying in* – but it is a nonsense to claim that the modern people identifying as ethnically and/ or religiously Jewish are ‘European’ and have no connection with the Jews of Jesus’ time.

Religion is all a load of politicized, dangerous,non-rational nonsense; a hangover from ignorant times made redundant by science and the advances in technology.
The Vatican is aware of the rise of the confident new rational scientific atheism and seeks to make common cause with another repressive false belief system Islam. It has always been antisemitic to some degree or another although it pretends not to be.
All Christians around today are a long way from the made up gospel stories in their attitudes and behaviour.
It always has intrigued me that Jesus is portrayed as this meek and mild pacifist in the gospels instead of a saviour who would militarily throw the Romans out of Judea. The reason why they did this was because they realized when he got executed by the Romans(not the Jews as Catholic children used to be taught)
that he couldn’t deliver the expected result so they concocted the story to give his followers more credibility but since them the reality of human nature has made “christians” as keen on “holy” war as their derivatives the mad muslims. Its time we all ditched this mind deception and got rational and used the only system that has brought true knowledge, the scientific method.!!

Rational Voice: I’m not religious but your take on Jesus is a whopper. He had zero interest in political and military affairs. He was also (understandably) looked upon as a major troublemaker by the Sanhedrin who desired his demise far more than Pilate did. And to assert, as you have, that the Gospels were just made up is beyond anything defensible.
May I suggest your reading Michael Grant’s “Jesus: An Historian’s Review of the Gospels,” published in the late 1970’s, for an intelligent and informed skeptic’s view of what Jesus was all about and why the Gospels actually are far from just made up. Even if one disagrees with Grant’s take on Jesus, for instance if one is a devout Christian, it is at least an intelligent, detailed and well defended thesis Grant puts forward, unlike yours which is rooted in ignorance and rank bias.
You give a bad name to religious skepticism. Yes you do. And you’re clueless, I’m sure, about this.

They have been ‘mind-f*cked’ by mohammedanismm – ‘groomed’, savagely, down through the centuries.
To their credit the fact that their communities still *exist* at all is testimony to one final refusal… the refusal to convert to Islam (though, down the centuries, many did *break* under the horrific pressure of the dhimma, the ceaseless, cruel, relentless bullying and messing-with-the-mind, and.. .joined the Gang of Bullies, the Uber-Bully, the Ummah or Mohammedan Mob, the Death-Worshippers).
But the Dhimma warps the soul. These people are not ‘possessed’ but some strands of Christianity would argue that they are ‘oppressed’/ ‘obsessed’, in a sense ‘cursed’. I would argue that there is strong demonic influence involved. The dhimma system is not only about physical, economic, psychological and (often) sexual Abuse to the nth degree; it is about *spiritual* abuse.
They need a solid deprogramming that might, at times, verge on *exorcism*.
Read Mark Durie’s “The Third Choice” and “Liberty to the Captives”. He offers some interesting ideas, in the latter, as to ways of spiritually and mentally freeing dhimmis… and descendants of dhimmis, some of whom really seem to be ‘haunted’ in very strange ways. Though I would add that he himself needs to perhaps think about one of the clauses of the Conditions of Omar – the clause whereby the dhimmi is forced to bind themselves to NEVER (under ANY circumstances) strike a Muslim. That is: the clause that says, “I have NO right to use force in self-defence or to assist another person who is being attacked or threatened by Muslims”.
Because it strikes me that the way to *break* THAT condition is for the person to find the courage to say, ‘I claim the RIGHT as a human being to use force, as required, to defend myself and any others who are mortally threatened by Muslim aggression.”
Tangata says
The Roman Catholic church only denounced it’s anti-Semitic doctrine of Deicide blaming Jews for the death of Christ in the 1960s. The pope is not subject to the same pressure as they are. He’s not even from the same side of the planet as they are. So what’s his deal? His religion (if he’s still Catholic) is based on a Jew who lived in a Jewish state, who visited the Jewish temple at least twice. Denying this is denying their own religion.
Furthermore, the Roman occupiers called the area Judea, not Arabia. They didn’t call the temple an Arabian temple.
Why can’t the pope just say, “We’d like to be honest, but these crazy ….s will murder every Jew and Christian from Tunisia to Indonesia if we don’t humor them?” Not pretty, but honest at least.
