“The FBI began investigating Mohamud in April 2017 after his family in Kansas City reported him missing and said they were worried he had gone overseas to take part in jihadi [sic]. Egyptian authorities detained Mohamud before voluntarily returning him to the United States. Mohamud said on his passport application that he planned to visit Canada, which he admitted was a lie.”
All right, so what was he doing in Egypt, and why did he lie? Those questions remain unanswered.
“Prosecutors said in the plea agreement that they found no direct evidence of terrorism activity by Mohamud.”
Considering that the FBI wouldn’t know jihad activity from Shinola, that’s not exactly reassuring.
“Man Investigated for Terrorism Sentenced for Passport Fraud,” NBC Chicago, January 27, 2018:
Federal prosecutors say a 22-year-old Kansas City man who was investigated for possible terrorism was sentenced for four years in prison for passport fraud.
Isse Aweis Mohamud, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Somalia, was sentenced Friday for lying on his passport application.

“…said on his passport application that he planned to visit Canada, which he admitted was a lie.”
We should be glad those guys are too dumb to shut up. Without that admission the feds would have had to come up with some BS charge.
“All right, so what was he doing in Egypt, and why did he lie?”
Maybe he always wanted to see the pyramids and spent his family’s welfare money to get there! I’m sure that would have satisfied our corrupted FBI.

What did he do. …divert his flight to the mid east??? Hijacking?

Now he gets lodged at considerable taxpayer expense while he festers away with his criminally adept Muslim brothers, and at the end of this scholarship he emerges with new contacts and new criminal skills. Hey what are parole officers throughout the land doing about this new & dangerous client population? Is anyone briefing them?

The FBI should immediately re-institute JIHAD DOCTRINE studies for ALL of its personnel, so that they will not continue to be CLUELESS about the MEANING, MOTIVE and METHODS of Islamic supremacist TERRORISM.

The FBI is too busy hiding text messages!

Revoke his citizenship and deport him.
Mack says
It is a lawful remedy as his conduct is arguably an act of renunciation and a Felony.

Mack, You hit the nail on the head. As I was reading this article, I was wondering the same thing. I am almost reaching a point where I am going to stop reading JW as the more I read about the unbounded stupidity of our law enforcement, judicial system and the press, I just wish to bury my head in the sand but since there are about ten more articles, I guess I will trudge on.

I feel sometimes I too would like to bury my head in the sand! But I think it’s the responsibility of all people to educate themselves. But I have learned Some people prefer to pretend everything is Rosey, and I myself want to know if it’s coming! I want to go down fighting, not blind and hit in the back of the head.
