During his State of the Union Address…..
President Donald Trump reminded the audience that, “in recent weeks, two terrorist attacks in New York were made possible by the visa lottery and chain migration.” While he did not mention the terrorist attacks in question – and did not note the radical Islamic ideology that inspired both of them – this appears to be a reference to terrorists Sayfullo Saipov and Akayed Ullah.
Fact-Check: TRUE
Unfortunately, there are countless “fact-checks” that are being systematically ignored in fake news outlets daily, as groups such as CAIR and other Islamic supremacists, along with their fake news water-carriers, continue pumping out their propaganda. Americans, like everyone else in the Western world, are being conditioned to accept that Muslims are the victims of prejudice, intolerance and a general and pervasive phobia against Muslims.
Expect the victimology narrative to be intensified by Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration, his executive order for a temporary ban on Muslim countries of concern, and his plan to end chain migration and the visa lottery.
While Trump did not mention the “radical Islamic ideology” behind the New York City attacks during his State of the Union Address, he has frequently referred to “radical Islamic terrorism”; not long ago, he sternly told Theresa May “to focus on ‘radical Islamic terrorism‘” and “not his Britain First tweets” that drew him criticism.
“Fact-Check: Yes, NYC Terrorists Entered U.S. Through Chain Migration, Visa Lottery”, by Frances Martel, Breitbart, January 30, 2018:
During his second State of the Union Address, President Donald Trump reminded the audience that, “in recent weeks, two terrorist attacks in New York were made possible by the visa lottery and chain migration.” While he did not mention the terrorist attacks in question – and did not note the radical Islamic ideology that inspired both of them – this appears to be a reference to terrorists Sayfullo Saipov and Akayed Ullah.
Fact-Check: TRUE
Saipov, 29, rented a vehicle and used it to mow down pedestrians in New York on Halloween this year, killing eight and injuring 11. Saipov entered the country from Uzbekistan through the Diversity Visa Lottery in 2010. According to the State Department, anyone from “countries with historically low rates of immigration to the United States” is eligible to enter the lottery.
Akayed Ullah, 27, attempted a suicide bombing in a subway tunnel under New York’s Port Authority Bus Terminal on December 11. Ullah failed, injuring only himself. He entered the United States from Bangladesh with an F43 family immigrant visa in 2011. This visa allows extended family members to sponsor relatives abroad…

It’s time to develop protocols for IDENTIFYING JIHADISTS BEFORE they enter the US.
All Muslim applicants should answer a questionnaire while connected to a polygraph which clearly asks them if they are in favor of REPLACING the American constitution with Sharia law.
Most Muslims are IN FAVOR of that.
Terry Gain says
The solution to the Muslim problem is just to keep them out. Muslims have no right to do to America what they have done to Syria, Egypt, KSA, Iran etc. Sharia is not just incompatible with western values, it is in opposition to them. Ex-Muslims should be welcomed with open arms.
The lesson of 9/11 was never learned. America was not attacked by Afghanistan or KSA. It was attacked by Muslims in America.

“Trust but verify” would be a good way to go even with those who claim to have doubts or to have left islam.

I cannot believe that USA has allowed all these dreadful people to roll in without checks. When I emigrated to the USA back in the 60’s you had to go through many checks, including TB X-rays.
What are these people bringing in besides their doctrines? TB and syphilis? Who is checking? and if not, why not? Many of them go to work in food outlets – are they checked for contagious diseases?
Apart from that Trump has done a great service to the USA and many people in England are cheering him on, even if our politicians are not.

It’s not “radical” Islamic ideology. It’s just Islamic ideology. The “radical” is redundant.

Yes, and I wish people would stop using the adjective radical. Islam is Islam. If you must use an adjective use FUNDAMENTALIST.

Chain migration? The accelerant to burn down a nation?
I am Agnostic, I understand doubt, yet the message of a Democrat leadership athiest, supremist, attitude came through clearly when POTUS talked about honoring the flag(our nation) and the motto “In God We Trust” – and they smugly sat on their hands. Those leaders do not love their nation. No wonder Obama felt free to criticize and belittle the nation.
People are entitled to be Atheists under the US Constitution. However, one would hope that belief and optimism would be replaced by a set of values that do not include insider trading, playing Robin Hood, seditiousnress, and giving away the nation to another supremist ideology.
Watching the Democrat’s leadership was like having ice water thrown upon one’s person; an undeniable wakeup call that there is a movement, not unlike communism, in progress that, if unchecked, will make the US into a future Rome.
The Democrat’s leadership seems completely unaware that when the various Islamic groups and terrorists assail the US about their morals, and express the Islamic desire to destroy the US through subjugation, they are first on the list.

Pretty strong speech! Actually, another very good one right after Davos.
But his next choice regarding a compromise for the illegal immigrants may be his most important one. Either he stays the course or a lazy compromise will give the Democrats an undeserved “victory” – at a huge disadvantage for the rest of the population as the whole issue has (once again) not been solved properly.
And people will not forget this.

Well, it could also be a bear hug deal for all we know (a deal where the most generous terms are offered at the beginning, and each subsequent renegotiation actually results in a bid that’s less generous than the original.) Trump did the same when he purchased Mar-a-lago years ago. He made the owners at the time an offer ($10,000,000, I think.) They refused. Property didn’t sell. He made an offer for $2,000,000 less than before. After going though this a few times, they finally sold it to him for something like half of his original offer.
In fact, a bear hug deal might be a great way to put pressure on the other side to move for a quick resolution if it’s made clear that he’s happy to just let those programs expire and any renegotiation will result in worse terms. They only have until the 18th of March to do it, and if he offers the opposite side of the aisle at least some of what they claim to want and they still refuse, then it will hurt them at election time because then he can then turn around and say to their constituents something like “I gave them a deal, with some fairly generous terms and they didn’t want it. You still think they care about you?” Boom, dead to rights.
This is all speculation though.

Instead of 12 years of a clean nose for DACA citizenship, why not 4 years in the military? That would separate the patriotic and productive from the sponges and give successful applicants an investment in America.
The liberals would never allow it since it would highlight their own unwillingness to sacrifice anything for America. Pleading the causes of the downtrodden while seeking something for themselves is the new Democrat leadership modus operandi.

Looking at this photo is so extremely painful to me at very many levels: physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, socially, psychically, even financially. What is point of acquiring wealth if there is no safe place to reside? Unjust war is diabolical.
Better education system would really help in deprogramming.
Unjust wars create terrorism.
Bad leaders around the world are responsible for creating fanatics.
Demented creeds are also a huge problem.
Good books save lives. Bad books ruin lives.
A good teacher inspires. A bad teacher will make child drop out of school. Best pick up writing instrument instead of weapon.
Only sage is qualified to be armed – sage with staff. I am interested in personally deprograming people – we need to create institutions for deprogramming. Who will be brave enough to create such institutions? Lesson taught with affection is remembered. Hate breeds more hate.

Sadly, ending the diversity lottery will likely rule out my ever gaining a Green Card for the USA, with citizenship the goal i was aiming for 🙁
I cannot enter the lottery, being Canadian, but my wife is eligible so we could have come as a couple.
There is probably still time to enter though….better get on it.
