The outdoor Muslim call to prayer on loudspeakers was banned by a German court. The plaintiff’s complaint was not about the disturbing decibel level of the muezzin — although that should have also been included — but about the message of the call to prayer itself. He stated:
It’s a chant in a key that’s disturbing to us, but it’s all about the content of the call, which sets Allah above our God as a Christian, and I as a Christian who grew up in a Christian environment do not accept it.
Faced with a similar situation, Israel implemented measures “of limiting calls to prayers from mosques, including one restriction prohibiting the use of loudspeakers at all hours.”
Kudos to the German plaintiff and court. We may hope that this case will set a precedent for others to challenge Islamic supremacism in other situations as well. Abuses against and/or disdain for unbelievers and apostates should have no place in non-Muslim nations.
“Silenced: Outdoor Muslim Call to Prayer Banned by German Court”, by Simon Kent, Breitbart, February 2, 2018:
The announcement of the traditional Muslim call to prayer via public outdoor loudspeakers has been banned by a German court.
The Gelsenkirchen Administrative Court of North Rhine-Westphalia issued the ban on Friday Muezzin calls, endorsing the local municipality’s withdrawl of the mosque’s original permit for gathering Muslims over loudspeakers, the local Westfalen Post reports.
The city of Oer-Erkenschwick first gave permission for the loudspeaker calls – also known as adzhan – by the Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (Ditib) in 2013. Every Friday afternoon since the local imam issued two-hour public prayer calls until a local couple complained to the city over its permit to the mosque.
The complainants – who live just 900 metres from the mosque – said they felt affected by the muezzin’s reputation for being against religious freedom. Their legal counsel stated: “This lawsuit is not only about the loudspeaker permit, but in particular about the inherent messages that are publicly distributed in the muezzin call.”
“It’s a chant in a key that’s disturbing to us, but it’s all about the content of the call, which sets Allah above our God as a Christian, and I as a Christian who grew up in a Christian environment do not accept it,” the newspaper quoted the 69-year-old plaintiff.
According to the Westfalen Post, a Christian Syrian neighbor of the mosque also complained about the Muezzin calls, but was “massively threatened” by his Muslim neighbors and withdrew his complaint.
The muezzin call violates the permit’s mandated prohibition on disseminating “negative religious liberties,” the attorney argued, meaning that no one should be coerced into any particular faith – which the attorney argued is the case with the muezzin call, asserting an Islamic call to public prayer is made at the expense of other religions.
Israel has approached the same problem by the simple measure of limiting calls to prayers from mosques, including one restriction prohibiting the use of loudspeakers at all hours…..

If they continue to be allowed to invade and infest the West this is actually a means to pacify the populace of non-Muslims to what is happening.
If one has to endure this blabber 5 times a day, from some government approved minaret, then perhaps that medicated overwrought limbic system may actually kick in and do something about this treason–that almost all Western governments engage in to, mistakenly, compete in global markets.
There is a sickening acceptance of Islam upon the claim its citizens commit less crime upon the population than other ‘sectors’ — a similar excuse claimed by a NPR guest promoting Islamic immigration, Like Blacks?
Never mind that the crimes of Muslims are perhaps the most heinous even if one disregards the rape, molestation, and intimidation . But Muslim crime is really more pervasive than people are led to believe, and Islamically initiated and incited by the Koran than most people realize.
Many people also claim they know one or two upstanding and honest Muslims, and in that misplaced apology for this enemy Islam, they like many ‘Christians’, also assume Muslims as people as themselves, will think it’ll eventually be shared–particularly in this American society with all kinds of great stuff, that religion is all BS anyway — So they argue we should accept them.
Even if 90 percent of Muslims are that vacuous, shallow and apostate Islam is this nation’s enemy, and apostle Muslims, and liberials cannot make it non-hostile to our Constitution and way of life — certainly not so by propaganda and lies.
CRUSADER says
Interesting that MINARET and MENORAH have a similar root, meaning light/lamp….
From the Minaret, of course, is blasted the Adzhan…..
The adzhan (Arabic: أَذَان ) (also called in Turkish: Ezan) is the Islamic call to worship, recited by the muezzin at prescribed times of the day. The root of the word is ʾadhina أَذِنَ meaning “to listen, to hear, be informed about”. Another derivative of this word is ʾudhun (أُذُن), meaning “ear”.
Adhan is called out by a muezzin from the mosque five times a day, traditionally from the minaret, summoning Muslims for mandatory (fard) worship (salat). A second call, known as iqama, (set up) then summons Muslims to line up for the beginning of the prayers. The main purpose behind the multiple loud pronouncements of adhan in every mosque is to make available to everyone an easily intelligible summary of Islamic belief. In modern times, loudspeakers have been installed on minarets for this purpose.
The adhan recites the Takbir (God is great) followed by the Shahada (There is no god but God, Muhammad is the messenger of God). This statement of faith, called the Kalimah, is the first of the Five Pillars of Islam.

Most Western countries engage in the attempt to manage religions, but in so doing, give the edge to Islam.
Since Islam is a system of male entitlement , intimidation and coercion.
The banning of Islamic anything is fine with me — I’d ban the entire religion as it is our enemy, but these piece meal efforts to placate non-Muslim offended citizens just draws out the ordeal of confronting this menace in a serious way. Even Turkey and few other Muslim countries recognize the need to suppress many Islamic practices knowing even most Muslims get tired of Islam’s implacable and tyrannical demands.

Jayell says
Ah, Mr. Muhammed, back again, I see!
Now, you clearly do not seem to appreciate the problem. The ‘call to prayer’ (aka the ‘ode to dyspepsia’) is broadcast out loud in public places, which means that, unless one is deaf, one is forced to hear it whether one wishes to or not. Furthermore, unlike, say, street entertainment, which is usually no more than just ‘entertainment’, highly localised and licensed and allowed on the basis of its general public acceptability and consent, the ‘call to prayer’ has an element of political/ideological propaganda that is alien to the cultures of the western world both in its content and the manner of its presentation. I am surprised, Mr Muhammed, that you did not try the old trick of claiming that the ‘call to prayer’ is comparable with church bells, and should be tolerated for that reason. I’m glad you didn’t, because this comparison falls down on the grounds that (a) a bell is simply an anonymous mechanical sound which carries no specific message and has a specific significance only for those who know why it is sounding, (b) bells are used for public warnings for reasons other than church services (e.g., clocks, schools, public buildings, emergency vehicles and installations, etc., etc.) and the sound is therefore part of the general public ambience which most people actually LIKE, and (c) bells have a pleasant, musical sound unlike the tone-deaf cacophony that is no doubt supposed to pass for ‘chanting’ the ‘call to prayer’; and (d) many non-conformist and RC churches don’t have bells anyway, so maybe the whole point is redundant. But you obviously didn’t think of any of that lot, so I thought I’d mention it for you.
Then you say….”while we muslims tolerate heavy music, dancing and clapping for the Satan in christian churches on Sun Days (a Day assigned for worshiping mithra god).” OK, so:-
1. Most church music is not particularly ‘heavy’, only certain groups have a habit of clapping, and very, very few services of church worship in the world include any dancing at all. The Quakers are totally silent.
2. If you were to look at the words of church hymns and worship songs, the dedication is clearly to God and Satan only gets rare mention as some kind of enemy. I believe that Satan actually appears more often in islam, which is probably why the name comes to your mind so easily.
3. All church singing, etc., takes place behind closed doors in a church and is never broadcast to the local environment, so nobody (not even muslims) has to ‘tolerate’ it unless they go INSIDE a church building. The idea is not to make a nuisance of oneself – quite a novel thought for muslims, apparently. So this objection of yours is such utter, inaccurate rubbish that I wonder why you wasted your time (and ours) raising it!
4. What are ‘Sun Days’? Something we never get in the UK, perhaps? If you mean ‘Sunday’ (correctly spelt as one word, the day after Saturday), there is nothing particularly odd about worshipping or doing anything particular then, and the fact that some ancient Roman god is supposed to have been venerated on that day of the week about 2,000 years ago is neither here nor there since (as you apparently don’t seem to have noticed) no one does that anymore. It certainly has never appeared in any calendars or diaries in my lifetime. In any case, since the calendar has changed so much over the centuries, the Mithras’ day has probably nothing to do with the western ‘sunday’ anyway. In any case. most people think that doing anything religious on Fridays is a bit stupid, since most people should be at work then – but, of course, the UK unemployment statistics suggest that most muslims don’t know a lot about ‘work’ in the first place.
Lastly, why do you read ‘Jihad Watch’ at all, Mr Muhammed? I wouldn’t have thought it’s quite your ‘thing’. And why can’t you write intelligent posts? Do reply this time!
Ray Jarman says
Jayell, Your response is one of the best I have read and you make some important points. Not only are bells not offensive, they have been part of our heritage for centuries and if these creatures from another world don’t like to listen to them, they can return from where the sludge originated.

You don’t have to stand outside churches looking for ways to be offended though do you Ibrahim…..
If you and your blockheaded brethren still need reminding to get yourself bowing down to your idol on time (because your god needs regular updates to avoid feeling left out) then you can use one of the many innovative ways to keep track of the time instead.
In the West, we have things called “watches” and “clocks”, which, combined with the information that is probably written on all of your wall hanging calenders, enable a person to plan his day to the very second if he wishes.
have you heard of these things?
Perhaps not, which is why you would rather have the disgusting lies of the azan broadcast across the whole planet, just so you don’t have to bother putting in the slightest bit of effort.
As a bonus, you get to feel like your tribal gang owns the place, which is the real reason your fine brothers love to have their yelping amplified in our lands.

Linde Barrera says
To Ibrahim Itace Muhammed- In addition to Jayell’s very on-point comments, I must state 2 additional thoughts: first is that if you see the God of Christianity as being Satan, then that qualifies you as a confused and deluded sadist because the god of Islam encourages and sanctions the killing of all non-Muslims, and only loves and forgives Muslims, yet he is given credit for creating all creatures! How whacky and satanic is that? ?Secondly, I would sincerely hope that the neighbors who live on the same street as the mosque all agree together at the same time to blast out the song “Long, Cool Woman in a Black Dress” (by the Hollies) using a portable CD player with an electrical extension cord to their outside spaces whenever the call to prayer comes from the mosque. Now that is what I call “sweet synchronization revenge”.?
