It is unsurprising that Australia would get beaten up about its sensible immigration policy by the UN, which has been hijacked by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). While the UN lambastes Australia over the supposed “abuse” of migrants, it entirely ignores the mass abuses and jihad attacks that many Muslim migrants have brought to Europe.
Australia’s first week on the UN human rights council has been undermined by a scathing report that has implicated its migration policies as part of a global “escalating cycle of repression and deterrence” that has caused “massive abuse” of migrants.
Included on the UN Human Rights Council are Muslim countries with numerous human rights violations — because those violations are mandated by Sharia, including Iraq, Pakistan, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Afghanistan and Qatar. Sharia is not fully implemented in all of those countries, but many of the human rights abuses that are sanctioned by Sharia are all too prevalent in them.
“Scathing UN migration report mars Australia’s first week on human rights council,” by Ben Doherty, Guardian, March 1, 2018:
Australia’s first in-session week on the UN human rights council has been undermined by a scathing report that has implicated its migration policies as part of a global “escalating cycle of repression and deterrence” that has caused “massive abuse” of migrants.
Australia, which campaigned for three years for a seat on the council, has also been a global promoter of its hardline policies designed to deter irregular migration, including boat pushbacks, mandatory and indefinite detention, and offshore processing.
The 20-page report to the human rights council, from the UN’s special rapporteur on torture, Nils Melzer, said the major reason migrants were exploited and abused was the policies of states that sought to deter people from migrating and punish those who did.
“The primary cause for the massive abuse suffered by migrants in all regions of the world, including torture, rape, enslavement, trafficking and murder, is neither migration itself, nor organised crime, or the corruption of individual officials, but the growing tendency of states to base their official migration policies and practices on deterrence, criminalisation and discrimination, rather than protection, human rights and non-discrimination,” Melzer said….

The man who supplied the gun used to shoot police accountant Curtis Cheng dead in 2015 has given an Islamic State salute after being sentenced to 44 years in prison.(at what cost to tax payers?)
Key points:
This is the first time in Australia someone has been sentenced for the offence of committing a terrorist act
Alou refused to stand for Justice Peter Johnson during the hearing
He will be eligible for parole in 2048, when he is aged in his 50s
Raban Alou shouted “this is only the beginning” as he was led from the NSW Supreme Court in Paramatta.
Alou pleaded guilty to aiding, abetting, counseling or procuring a terrorist act.
This guy knew what he was doing would result in an Islamic terrorist murder. He’s even more guilty than the kid he manipulated to do the killing. That’s why he should be executed. At what cost is 44years behind bars to our nation, and what influence will he have on other inmates in jail?
The only good jihadist is a dead one. Let him go to his paradise 2 meters underground!
And Justice Peter Johnson, in part of his summing up, told Alou, you have followed a depraved and evil ideology. (according to one tv news report)
We should all realize and apply the implications of that statement to all matters of jihad and Islamism here and around the world, and what it may mean for all Muslims of both main sects.
All of the above is just one of the reasons prominent here that most Australians now have a great mis-trust of anything Islamic. Far from being a religion of peace, in practice, it is an ideology of lethal violence and submission to it.

Kasey, I saw the report on the TV news about this Muslim scumbag Alou and noticed the remarks by Justice Peter Johnson about how he was following a “depraved and evil ideology”. They were reasonably tough words from the judge. However, I’m sure he was referring only to Alou’s following ISIS and not to Islam as a whole. I believe all of Islam is evil and depraved and a clear enemy of our way of life. So, I wasn’t all that impressed with the judge’s words. Nevertheless, he was fairly tough and truthful in what he said, at least compared to many others. As for the UN, it seems clear that they want decent western societies everywhere, built into civilised societies over many centuries and through much hard work, to be turned into third world sh*tholes by just opening the borders to Muslim barbarians, who are 100% incompatible in their outlooks. The UN seems to be nothing but an enemy seeking to destroy our civilised nations. I have zero respect for the UN and its aims..

At least this Australian judge gets it, he says Australia has been under attack by Muslim men for at least 15 years, & they are getting their inspiration from the Quran. He better not go somewhere like England, Theresa May will lock him up for hate speech.

Every civilised nation should have withdrawn from the UN the day that Saudi Arabia got the chairmanship of the UNHRC, if not sooner.
The OIC is not the only threat to humanity which is nurtured in the bosom of the UN. Its enablers are the globalists who have forced mass third world Muslim immigration on the West, and who want to enslave us thru programs like Agenda 21 / Agenda 2030, which is already being rolled out.
Carolyne says
Stella, I agree wholeheartedly with you and IMO the US should have kicked the UN out years ago. In fact, what was the point of New York, when the other member countries have to travel thousands of miles to reach the USA instead of in Europe where it was most convenient and they could support it for a change.
The UN and all its tentacles are anti-American and anti-freedom. We should withdraw our money and kick them out.
tim gallagher says
Spot on, StellaSaidSo, it’s sickening to have the UN, dominated by countries with zero human rights, such as Saudi Arabia, lecturing far more civilised, western nations about their failure to uphold some ideal of human rights ( or rather, their failure to cave in and let Muslim barbarians invade ands destroy their nations, which is what they are really being criticised for). The UN, what a joke it is for it to set itself up as some kind of moral arbiter. We should, of course, tell the UN to go to hell. I agree with you, Carolyne, the US should throw the parasites at the UN out.
Ray Jarman says
Stella, The UN died the day Dag Hammarskjold died. Not one Secretary General has worthy to sit in the same chair as Mr. Hammarskjold and the whole organization should have been shut down. I am still waiting for them to prevent a war. I was in East Timor soon after the UN sat and watched the Indonesians slaughter the Timor people. I bought a tee shirt when one reads the first letters it reads “USELESS” and when read across the first letters like “U” reads “Unfaithful” and so forth. The people there really hate the UN as do I. I have seen UNICEF erect grandiose buildings and its employees living high on the hog rather than providing the children for which it was designed food, clothing and an education.

“…. I *wish* Muslim migrants were just economic migrants….”
An accurate term is needed; almost none are “refugees” of course – (the real refugees are being left behind to be wiped-out) – and their being “economic migrants” is the lesser part of the problem.
How about “cultural cuckoos” – greedily swallowing everything offered to them, until they are strong enough to push their blindly-doting parents out of the nest and take it over exclusively for themselves, ready to send out their young to repeat the performance in the next nest, the next country, and the next continent – Lebanon, Iran, Libya, Turkey, Sweden, Holland, Bosnia, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, Canada, and America…..
Ray Jarman says
While I admire Nikki Haiey, I wish that she would ask one simple question to the whole forum; why hasn’t Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran, UAE, Oman and other oil rich Middle Eastern nations accepted even one migrant. Why haven’t they accepted Christians from Syria, Libya and other countries that are persecuting Christians and permitting them to build new cathedrals and churches as well as providing them with hand outs while they sit around and enjoy the sites. Oh, I forgot that the UN-holy book does not permit non-cultists to exist except in servitude.
Now that Australia as well as Austria have seen the light, maybe, just maybe – I prey – the other Europeans, England, Canada and the US will follow suit. It is just plain common sense if nations wish to their native sons and daughters to live in peace and harmony.
Guy Forester says
Australia, NZ, UK, Canada, & US have had a long history of aiding others, especially when disaster strikes. Our politicians are now brining a slow moving disaster upon us by forcing us to take in people that come into our borders, with or without vetting and permission. Australia and New Zealand are in the crosshairs of those that seek to destroy Western culture and civilization. WAKE UP.

It is impossible to vote for an alternative if no alternative is offered. There is virtually no difference between the major parties in Australia. The same applies in UK. Where there is a significant difference, the cheat machine goes into high gear in favour of the establishment candidate. We saw this in operation in the US election, where fortunately it was unsuccessful – and in the French election, where unfortunately it was successful. The usual suspects are currently trying to influence tomorrow’s vote in Italy. It is a long time since there was an honest election in a Western ‘democracy’.

We have noticed that here in the US as well. Trump is the outlier, but I think he is folding under the pressure and threats of the swamp creatures.
I sincerely doubt many of the elections are truly honest any more.

What happened, was Kevin Rudd, one of our most inept left-wing Prime Minister’s ever, had his sights on a UN role for himself. When he was ousted by his Deputy, Julia Gillard, the Labor party as a whole made a deal to shut Kevin up by throwing an unbelievable amount of money at the UN to campaign for that seat – so that doofus could fulfil his narcissism – and so that the Labor party could be rid of the monster they made.
Australia didn’t campaign for a seat on the UN. A cabal of Labor party heavyweights decided to, using our funds, just so they could get rid of a political menace.
We were represented just fine as a nation, we did not need to do this. And as far as I’m concerned, the UN has become a corrupt, bloated mess that has become the means for insidious voting bloc groups to wrestle control (such as the OIC) and try to enforce their filthy agenda on the entire council of nations.
I could give a flying kangaroo kick for the views of the UN. I care even less for the OIC. They could all get wiped out by an asteroid and I wouldn’t do a thing, except have a celebratory Scotch on the rocks
We are a humanitarian nation, we have proven that over and over again over the decades. Just because we refuse to let hordes of Muslims into our nation who come illegally by boat, does not lessen the good work we’ve done around the world. The OIC can rot in hell..
Peter says
Well said Sarah. It’s time to stop seeking the approval of the UN. And it’s time for Australian politicians to stop treating the UN as the next step in the careers, post politics. Yes, I’m talking about you Julie BIshop.

Yes, Julie Bishop has her eye on the prize. It’s a shame because I think she’s actually a very competent Politician and is wasted currently. Not surprisingly, Australia’s response was weak. It should be more along the lines of:
“We unilaterally reject the blind, ideology driven rubbish presented by Melzer. Open border policies that those like Melzer demand of western countries (and it is only western countries that this is demanded of) are reckless and immoral. Not only has it proven disastrous for Europe, many people still drown every year in the Mediterranean, because of these polices.
“It is open border policies that are the root cause of the suffering of migrants, not deterrence, as it is those policies that encourage people to make the dangerous journeys in the first place.
“Australia provides safe, humane, and LEGAL means for those fleeing war and persecution to find safety, and we make it abundantly clear that those who do attempt illegal entry will be refused. There is simply no need, or justification, for these people to make the journey.
“We stand by our track record, which has seen drownings and other deaths reduced to near nil. And we stand by our RIGHT to determine who is allowed into our country and who isn’t. We cannot and will not take responsibility for those who decide that they are above the law, and will not take responsibility for the consequences resulting from this.”

Indonesia threatened to take a case against Australia to the UN when they (Australia) refused to take the Tampa boat people. This despite the boat people being picked up in the Indonesian search and rescue zone.
It is this double-think that we let Muslims get away with that exacerbates the problem.

Indonesia is part of that trafficking route and no doubt government officials knowingly assist these migrants and get paid well by the traffickers to do this. I suspect that the highest ranking military and political leaders get regular payments into a Singapore, Hong Kong, or Swiss bank account.

“… Australia’s first in-session week on the UN human rights council has been undermined by a scathing report that has implicated its migration policies as part of a global “escalating cycle of repression and deterrence” that has caused “massive abuse” of migrants…”
If this is standard fare from the UN Human Rights Council then it’s probably time to start thinking about a replacement body for the UN in it’s entirety. Such a one sided appraisal seems to indicate that those who have put together this human rights report are content to rely on the opinions of tired new leftists and assorted trendies. Europeans, no matter what they think of the current mass influx of North African and Middle Easterners, are horrified by the deaths at sea of many hundreds of people over the last decade and a half. The Australians have successfully stopped the regional death toll at sea, one that may have matched the entire Mediterranean toll; and the vast majority of the local population seem to be happy with this outcome and don’t have any desire to see a Swedish style mass airlift of strangers into the heart of the nation. So if the UN Human Rights Council can’t bring itself to congratulate a distant country for saving so many lives by implementing a successful humanitarian policy, then it’s reports are hardly worth the paper they’re written on.

Do not expect any congratulations for someone successfully stopping the uninvited assault on their borders, stopping the gratuitous loss of lives staged for additional publicity, and for showing the UN “Human Rights” council as being a farce.
The Indonesian authorities, traffickers, and even the “boat people” themselves all knew these rickety old tubs were overloaded, not seaworthy, and were never intended to get the “customers” safely to a port. They were put to sea with the intention of getting a distress call out and being rescued before disaster struck. Unfortunately, the open ocean is not a place for playing Darwin roulette.
Congratulations for Australia doing what was really needed to save lives and protect their borders.
By the way, why don’t the Islamic paradises of the KSA, Iran, Kuwait, or UAE take in these people? Surely they can take a few hundred here and there.

I used to think all this would end up in civil war where citizen patriots would take up arms against the filth and the global socialists. A last ditch effort to save Australia for the next generation.
Sadly, I’m mistaken. The young are so indoctrinated with the global socialist PC and multiculturalism that they would no longer recognize the totalitarian threat of the UN, it’s OWG and Agenda 2030 ambitions.
The young consider all humans Global Citizens .. including the filth.
The halcyon days with all the fun and innocence will never return. We are the last generation to have lived and played in safety on the streets without fear of gang rape and murder by moslem invaders.
We are also the last generation to have lived and worked without the need for Big Brother surveillance .. in order to keep us safe from Islamic terrorism.
Reflect on that …
Guy Forester says
I have noticed the same thing. I think the causes for this are many. Perhaps we were too successful in WW2 and the subsequent generations adopted the entitlement mentality. We lived in peace and with freedom and took it for granted. These are won only at a high cost of lives and money.
We shall soon see if Western culture, civilization, liberty, and prosperity go out with a whimper, live on, or go out fighting.

Indeed, they should be obliged to follow the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, or relinquish membership of the UN.
