Even if nothing happens at the World Cup, these threats serve to “strike terror in the enemies of Allah” (Qur’an 8:60).
“‘The terror will begin’: ISIS calls for lone-wolf World Cup attacks in chilling series of posters showing bomb blasts at venues in Russia,” by Julian Robinson, MailOnline, June 14, 2018:
ISIS fanatics have called for lone-wolf World Cup attacks in a chilling series of posters showing bomb blasts at venues in Russia.
One of the terror group’s mocked-up images shows flames engulfing a stadium and nearby facilities at the Fisht Olympic Stadium in the World Cup host city of Sochi, southern Russia.
Another calls for lone-wolf jihadists to ‘kill them all’ with the phrase written in French along with a picture of a knife slicing through a tournament logo against the backdrop of another Russian stadium.
A third shows an armed militant with the caption ‘the terror will begin’ and a fourth uses a clip of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing to call for a lone-wolf attack at football’s showpiece contest, according to the respected SITE Intelligence Group which monitors terror activity.
It comes as the World Cup gets underway on Thursday afternoon with hosts Russia taking on Saudi Arabia in Moscow’s Luzhinki Stadium.
A third shows a masked militant carrying a machine gun along with the caption ‘the terror will begin’…

MR, anti-terrorist forces have to balance the safety of the public with their desire to take out the terrorists.
We now expect there to be zero civilian casualties when there is an attack on civilian targets such as sports matches.
It’s a nightmare that will keep a lot of police strategists awake at night worrying about what they might have missed in planning against the jihadis.

your understanding of Jihad not scientific or historical. The Arabic word for fighting is Qital not Jihad. “If any of your parents alive, then do Jihad by taking care of them and being kind to them” and “the best of Jihad is a word of truth in front of an oppressive ruler” (Prophet Muhammad).
In order for fighting to be considered Jihad, certain conditions are to be met. Karen Armstrong, the prominent and prolific British writer on all three monotheistic religions, said: “In the Koran, therefore, the only permissible war is one of self-defense. Muslims may not begin hostilities (2: 190). Warfare is always evil, but sometimes you have to fight in order to avoid the kind of persecution that Mecca inflicted on the Muslims (2: 191; 2: 217) or to preserve decent values (4: 75; 22: 40). The Koran quotes the Torah, the Jewish scriptures, which permits people to retaliate eye for eye, tooth for tooth, but like the Gospels, the Koran suggests that it is meritorious to forgo revenge in a spirit of charity (5: 45). Hostilities must be brought to an end as quickly as possible and must cease the minute the enemy sues for peace (2: 192-3).”

@ Neil
This word-play scam is as old as the hills, you clown!
‘Qital’ means fighting, literally; but jihad can mean fighting in many ways, not just physical. For example, there is ‘jihad of the pen’- jihad bil qallam – in which newspaper articles are used to further the cause of Islam; the left wing Press is a classic example, as well as your post! There is ‘jihad of the tongue’ – jihad bil lisan – in which liars talk up Islam by saying it’s a peaceful religion, and so on.
You’ll have to up your game if you want to survive among the hallowed pages of Jihad Watch!

Excuse my pointing it out, but there is a typo in your submission to Alla……..I mean to Jihad Watch: in your particular case “Neil” is spelt “kneel”.

Uh huh. Tell me, does “Neil” have any problem with these pious Muslims calling for attacks on the World Cup? He certainly doesn’t say so.

So it is “self defense” to murder people enjoying watching soccer matches in an Infidel country?

Muslims are being persecuted by the spectacle of filthy Infidels enjoying world-class athletic competion. My heart weeps…
Of course, if “Neil” *really* believed this claptrap, then he would not be castigating the Kuffar here at Jihad Watch–he would take it up with these pious Muslims who so tragically misunderstand their own peaceful faith…

Karen Armstrong is not an authority on anything except taqquiya; you may apply the adjective “prolific” regarding her ability to lie.
Niemoller says
The ugly truth is the $7 trillion dollars spent by the U.S. federal government to defend against jihadism (how much more by state and local government and private industry?) is far more damaging to the United States than the thousands of lives murdered by jihadists.
How much has the rest of the world spent defending against actual and threatened jihadism? Surely trillions as well. It’s enough to cure the world of many ills, if we didn’t have to spend it to defend against Islamic terrorism. Violent jihadism is an international crises, it needs international solutions to snuff it out. It is not a local crime problem; treating it as such is how Islamists have evaded responsibility for their global evil.
Stacy Girl says
Can we put a price on those lives? No. The Muslim problem: an ounce of prevention (keep them out) is worth a pound of cure.
Niemoller says
We de facto put prices on lives all the time. Spending $7 trillion on defense indirectly killed countless lives if that money was spent on normal productive activities, like health and road safety. I blame Islamists, jihadists, and the alt left for wasting that money. I like your solution, btw.
Savvy Kafir says
Agreed. If we kick Muslims out of the West, the problem would be a lot more manageable.
Islam needs to be contained.

WHY CANT THESE SCUM SHOW THEIR PROWESS IN THE SOCCER FIELD? Well the Saudis lost in a HUMILIATING 0-5 fashion to the Russians,… IF ISLAM IS SO GOOD, WHY CAN’T THESE TERRORIST NATIONS WIN THE WORD CUP FOR A CHANGE.. IT IS SO EASY TO BOMB THE WCUP BUT TAKES A LIFETIME OF HARD-WORK, TALENT, AND PREPARATION TO WIN THE CUP. BUT MUSLIMS DO NOT UNDERSTAND THESE THINGS..

Jay thanks for stating reality in a manner that can make one smile. Although it is a very serious matter, to instill reality in the way you do is good, as this will imprint a persons mind, and that is necessary in order to deal effectively with this horrid threat.
