Yasser Arafat die a very rich man being airlifted to France for treatment of his cancer. The whole “Palestinian ” Government shut down because they could make payroll ( police ,hospitals , garbage men ,ect} could not get paid. Arafat held all information and money from his country in his personal Swiss bank accounts. The PLO payed a visit to his wife in France she agree to had over between 400-650 million dollars to be left along She lives a very rich life style in France with her children to this day. It is nice to be king or marry to the king I guess. The present leaders are cut from the same cloth becoming very rich stealing from the public coffers in there leadership for life gig. An invented country, with a make believe history, with thieving leaders stealing blind their own “people”. What could possible go right in trying to get a peaceful solution to this never ending fake peace process??
They did not ‘invent’ the Palestinian nationality in the 1960s. This was officially decided and qualified in the Mandate a long time before, with a limited amount of Jewish immigration which was to live co-operatively with the Palestinian Christians and Muslims. The British Army liberated Palestine and the Holy Land from Turkish/Muslim rule in the First World War. Then the British ruled Palestine until after the Second World War, and then the mass immigration of Jews began to increase and established the Jewish state of Israel and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

Can you enlighten me with a brief history of these ‘Palestinians’ you speak of? Kings, Queens, Currency, Trade, Battles etc.
Before the local Muslims appropriated the name, “Palestine” referred to *Jewish Israel*.
And there is no ethnic cleansing of “Palestinians”. Muslim Arabs have full equal rights in Israel, and serve in the Knesset.
This is nothing but projection on Jennifer’s part–it is actually Muslim countries that expelled their Jewish populations after the founding of Israel. How can she think we don’t know this?

Yes, during the Mandate period the name Palestine was used by the British to refer to the territory. If fact in some international competitions before WW2, Jews from the Mandate territory represented “Palestine”. I remember a photo of a Palestine soccer team made up of Jews. So even in that recent period the name did not refer exclusively to Muslim Arabs. Those of us who can remember the 1960’s and 1970’s will recall the media back them always talked of the “Arab-Israeli dispute”. The name “Palestinian” wasn’t in common usage as recently as the ’70’s. Only after the PLO and other terror groups latched on to the name, was there a slow drift to use of this term. But it was long know many who claimed to be indigenous “Palestinians” were born in other Arab nations.
Except that on no muslim (Turkish or Arab) maps was there ever a land called “palestine.”

Two thousand years ago the Romans renamed the Jewish nation Judea as “Palestina’ in an effort to break the emotional ties of her people to their country. This was long before the creation of Islam, thus, no Muslim country in the territory where there was a consistent Jewish presence. One hundred years ago Palestine was the name of the land on both eastern and western sides of the Jordan River and was the original promise of land to be designated as the Jewish homeland. Churchill partitioned 77% of that land – all of eastern Palestine – as Transjordan, now known as Jordan – as the Palestinian state for Arabs only – an apartheid state. The remaining 27% – western Palestine was to be the Jewish homeland – endorsed unanimously by all 51 members of the League of Nations in 1922. For decades, the British curtailed Jewish emigration at the demand of the Arabs from neighboring countries who emigrated to western Palestine and identified themselves as part of those countries – i.e. those from Syria called themselves ‘southern Syrians’. Instead of fulfilling their mandate to help establish the Jewish state on its ancient site, the British sided with the Muslims who were on the side of Hitler. Following the end of WWll Jews, known as ‘Palestinians’, abandoned that name and called themselves ‘israelis’. Even then, the Muslims in the land did not adopt that identity until the mid 60s when they began to call themselves ‘Palestinians’ for political expediency as that name matches the name of the territory that they falsely wish to claim as ‘the indigenous people’. There is no record of a ‘Palestinian’ nation, history, or government.

A PALESTINIAN NATIONALITY HAS NEVER EXISTED – ARABS ALWAYS CALLED THE REGION ‘SYRIA’
Distinguished Arab-American Princeton University historian Philip Hitti testified before the Anglo-American Committee, “There is no such thing as ‘Palestine’ in history.”
According to Arab-American columnist Joseph Farah, “Palestine has never existed – before or since – as an autonomous entity. It was ruled alternately by Rome, by Islamic and Christian crusaders, by the Ottoman Empire, and briefly by the British after World War I. The British agreed to restore at least part of the land to the Jewish people as their homeland. There was no language known as Palestinian. There was no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a Palestine governed by the Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc.”
* The current queen of Jordan is an Arab ‘Palestinian’.
* Approximately half of Jordan’s prime ministers since 1950 have been Arab ‘Palestinians’.
* More than 2/3 of the Jordanian people are Arab ‘Palestinians’.
* The majority of citizens residing in the capital of Amman are Arab ‘Palestinians’.
* Arab ‘Palestinians’ constitute not less than one half of the members of the armed forces, according to the late King Hussein, as broadcast on Amman Radio February 3, 1973.
* The majority of other security forces are Arab ‘Palestinians’.
* Jordan occupies 77% of the original Palestine Mandate (originally promised to the Jewish people). The population density of Jordan is less than 61 people per square mile leaving lots of room to absorb many more of their brethren and cousins.
-A Jordanian State stamp dating from 1964, bearing the likeness of King Hussein and pictures Mandated Palestine as an undivided territory.
-Abdul Hamid Sharif, Prime Minister of Jordan declared, in 1980, “The Palestinians and Jordanians do not belong to different nationalities. They hold the same Jordanian passports, are Arabs and have the same Jordanian culture.”

– Dr. Martin Sherman, founder and executive director of the Israel Institute for Strategic Studies, recently wrote that Article 1 of the Palestinian National Covenant proclaims: “The Palestinian Arab people are…part of the Arab nation.” Article 12 baldly admits that a separate Palestinian identity is a ruse to further wider Arab interests. Thus, at an Arab League summit in 1987, convened in Amman, King Hussein conceded that Palestinian identity was merely a response to Jewish national claims, not driven by any authentic endogenic sentiment of uniqueness, stating, “The appearance of the Palestinian national personality comes as an answer to Israel’s claim that Palestine is Jewish.” –King Hussein of Jordan in 1987

Let’s be realistic the people who now like to call themselves by the title of the “Palestinians” are actually for the most part the Arab./Muslim of that specific area of the world. Maybe they feel that by giving themselves that title they likewise feel that label will ,,somehow, give them some kind of genuine claim of that land that is the State of Israel. Then again maybe that title is just a propaganda ploy.
Nevertheless, the facts are that throughout in history the later half of the twentieth century all people, be they Jews or Arabs, who lived in the specific land area went by the title of “Palestinian.”

The idea of some people of dividing Jerusalem as well as other parts of the State of Israel between the Jewish people of the Muslim/ Arabs is nothing but folly. To engage the madness of such “talks” is a hoax and a farce .This is because in the so called “negotiations” between the heads of the Jewish nation of Israel and the leaders of the “Palestinians” the Muslim /Arabs the “Palestinian” leaders will speak the truth only when in happens to fit their agenda. The rest of the time the will be speaking half-truths and outright lies. For their goal is to obtain all of the land of the State of Israel ,.Even in it takes much time and it means getting the land piece by piece. So those “peace talks” are a hoax. For the “Palestinian” leaders are employing what is the Islamic doctrine of Taqiyya . Which is the Islamic dogma that lying and deception are good things to do as long as it’s done for the cause of the advancement of Islam. The insidious scheme is part of the stealth jihad .Otherwise known as “Islamic Gradualism.” This sly and something subtle strategy of disingenuous speech, lying deception of achieving the goal of all the land of Israel a war ploy that will be a disaster if the heads of the State of Israel are foolish enough to agree to divide the land of Israel with Muslim /Arabs ,the “Palestinians.” For if such a “peace dialogue” results in a divided land, the outcome will literally be murder. For “Palestinian” leader will allow the jihadists use that land as a base to launch murderous rocked attacks in to Israel. As for example, Hamas of Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Such false hopes for peace which are based on the foundation of lies are nothing new when it comes to Israel . For example, the Bible in Psalm 55:20, 21. Reads “Such men do violence to those at peace with them and break their promised word; their speech is smoother the butter but their thoughts are of war.” [N.E.B.]

I just found in my stacks of stuff an 85 page paperback, “The Arab Development Society (subtitled: Jericho Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan” Third edition December 1960, published by The Commercial Press, Jerusalem.
The book is a history of the Arab Development Society, by that society, and is therefore full of praise of its efforts, and the efforts of its founder, Musa Alami, who started a 2000 acre farm and sort-of Boys Town near Jericho, north of the Dead Sea. It seems to be for fundraising in the English-speaking world.
Interestingly, I have so far found only 3 instances of the word, “Palestinian”, in it. These are in the appendices (the appendices consist of pages 37 to 85 and are reprints of American and British newspaper articles and editorials praising the society): pages: 46, 51, and 85. Even then, on page 46, a reprint of a Christian Science Monitor article of September 18, 1953 by Harry Ellis, “…Jordanian and Palestinian officials…”, and on page 51,a reprint of a UNESCO Bulletin 4/1953, “…an experiment in self-help conducted exclusively by Palestinian Arabs”, and on page 85, a reprint of a Feb. 6, 1953 Spectator article by Barbara Castle MP, “…Under the leadership of a great Palestinian, Musa Alami, this charitable society has refused to accept the view of the experts…”, it is clear that the word, “Palestinian” is a geographical term, rather than an ethnic term – as a person from, say, California, is referred to as a “Californian” by many people, with no intent, nor taken understanding, of “Californian” as an ethnicity. The ethnicity of the refugees described in this book is clearly: Arab.
Throughout this 1960 volume, the refugees are referred to as “Arabs”, or “Palestinian Arabs” (once), or “the people of Arab Palestine”, or “fallaheen”, or “Palestine Arab refugees”, The conflict is referred to as the “Arab-Jewish war”, or the “Israeli-Arab war”, or the “Arab-Israeli war”. Nowhere is there that later fabrication, “The Palestinian People”.
In the Arab world, and in the US and Great Britain (the articles are reprints or extracts from, The New York Times, Christian Science Monitor, UNESCO Bulletin, New York Herald Tribune, Reader’s Digest, Newsweek, BBC, Norman Vincent Peale, The London TIMES, The Spectator), throughout the 1950s, there was no widespread understanding of the existence of a “Palestinian People”.
