“Already, in the time of the Prophet Muhammad, certain actions were prejudicial to the religion and to the very person of the Prophet. But he always remained indifferent, because the Koran says ‘not to turn around in front of these people.'”
Reality:
Islam mandates death for non-Muslim subjects of the Islamic state who mention “something impermissible about Allah, the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), or Islam” (‘Umdat al-Salik, o11.10), and such laws are based upon passages in the Hadith and Sira in which Muhammad orders the murders of people who have insulted him.
These include Abu Afak, who was over one hundred years old, and the poetess Asma bint Marwan. Abu Afak was killed in his sleep, in response to Muhammad’s question, “Who will avenge me on this scoundrel?” Similarly, Muhammad on another occasion cried out, “Will no one rid me of this daughter of Marwan?” One of his followers, Umayr ibn Adi, went to her house that night, where he found her sleeping next to her children. The youngest, a nursing babe, was in her arms. But that didn’t stop Umayr from murdering her and the baby as well. Muhammad commended him: “You have done a great service to Allah and His Messenger, Umayr!” (Ibn Ishaq, 674-676)
Then there was Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf. Muhammad asked: “Who is willing to kill Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?” One of the Muslims, Muhammad
bin Maslama answered, “O Allah’s Apostle! Would you like that I kill him?” When Muhammad said that he would, Muhammad bin Maslama said, “Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab).” Muhammad responded: “You may say it.” Muhammad bin Maslama duly lied to Ka’b, luring him into his trap, and murdered him. (Sahih Bukhari, volume 5, book 59, number 369)
Likewise the influential fatwa site Islam QA, on a page that has now been removed, called for death for blasphemers, using both Qur’an and Hadith to make its argument. “The scholars are unanimously agreed,” the site explains, “that a Muslim who insults the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) becomes a kaafir [unbeliever] and an apostate who is to be executed. This consensus was narrated by more than one of the scholars, such as Imaam Ishaaq ibn Raahawayh, Ibn al-Mundhir, al-Qaadi ‘Iyaad, al-Khattaabi and others.”
“Mohammad Abdelkrim Alissa: “Muslims must conform to the values of the Republic,'” translated from “Mohammad Abdelkrim Alissa : « Les musulmans doivent se conformer aux valeurs de la République »,” by Armin Arefi, Le Point, July 9, 2021 (via Fdesouche.com):
Saudi Arabian Mohammad Abdelkrim Alissa, head of the Muslim World League, supports Emmanuel Macron in his fight against separatism. He is the champion of moderate Islam, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s new watchword to restore Saudi Arabia’s image. And one of the few Muslim leaders to have visited Auschwitz. On the occasion of a visit to Paris, where he notably met Chief Rabbi Haim Korsia, he shares his vision of Islam in France with Le Point and recounts the upheavals underway in his country.
You are one of the few Muslim religious leaders to have supported Emmanuel Macron after the attack on Samuel Paty. Why?
Mohammad Abdelkrim Alissa: It is a matter of my religious, intellectual and human conviction, about which there is no hesitation. Violence and terrorism are everywhere and are committed by people who wrongly claim to be religious. The terrorist attack on Samuel Paty has nothing to do with Islam. Already, in the time of the Prophet Muhammad, certain actions were prejudicial to the religion and to the very person of the Prophet. But he always remained indifferent, because the Koran says “not to turn around in front of these people.”
The right to caricature in France has sparked anger in several Muslim countries. Do you understand these reactions?
We call on each individual living on French soil to comply with the values of the French Republic and its laws. At the same time, however, we believe that the French people, through their great historical heritage, cannot afford to blaspheme religious symbols, because their values rightly plead for respect for others. To prejudice the dignity of others is not acceptable, but even if it did, one cannot respond to hatred with hatred. There is absolutely no need to use violence. I must respect the French Constitution even if I disagree with it. Because it represents the will of the French people.
Do you understand that some French citizens of Muslim faith believe, on the contrary, that this law stigmatizes them?
[…] For example, I think that the existence of halal or kosher food shelves is in no way an element of separatism. Now, if there is a feeling of injustice within a community, it should take legal action. Any practice that does not fit into this approach is, in my opinion, separatism against the law. […]
Have you ever been approached by the French government about the reform of Islam in France?
No, we have not been approached and we categorically oppose interference in the internal affairs of states. Now, I think your country should have a benchmark body that represents Muslim authority and that can issue its own religious edicts, while respecting the Constitution, French laws and values. It is not normal to receive fatwas live from abroad on your smartphone in France! In my opinion, the French Council for Muslim Worship (CFCM) knows the situation of Islam in France better than anyone. It should have its own committee for writing fatwas and training imams. He could also be the head of a large Muslim fund aimed at raising funds only for those bodies in need. All this in close consultation with the French government. France’s national security is at stake. Thus, we are opposed to oriented funding coming from abroad with political and ideological objectives. […]

The head of the Muslim World League, Mohammad Abdelkrim Alissa, is using TAQIYYA … sacred prevarication to disguise what Sharia law clearly states: the punishment for blasphemers is death … and any Muslim may carry out the death sentence.
Punishment of Blasphemers from Sharia manual ‘Reliance of the Traveller’:
“The (DHIMMI) agreement is also violated (A: with respect to the offender alone) if the state has stipulated that any of the following things break it, and one of the subjects does so anyway, though if the state has not stipulated that these break the agreement, then they do not; namely, if one of the subject people:
-5- mentions something impermissible about Allah, the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), or Islam.” – Reliance of the Traveller’ Chapter ‘O’ 11.10.05.
Sharia permits anyone to kill those who verbally oppose Islam, since they are at war with Islam:
“There is no indemnity obligatory for killing a non-Muslim (harbi) at war with Muslims.” -Reliance of the Traveller, o4.17, p.593
“We have already discussed killing the person who, with intent, curses the Prophet, belittles him or slights him in any way. The judgement in this case is clear.” (i.e. death) – Qadhi Iyaadh in ash-Shifa, Volume No.2, Page No. 27
(I would like to add that ‘Sharia law has NOTHING to do with Sharia law.’

addendum: The killing of Samuel Paty is in PERFECT CONFORMITY with Sharia law. A Sharia law court would dismiss any charge brought against the assassin of Samuel Paty.
Raja says
Mortimer,
You have hit the nail on the head through your addendum. Yes, Sharia courts would have their way irrespective of what global governments would do.

Mohammad Abdelkrim Alissa, head of the Muslim World League, wants the French government to have an official Sharia law council that will advise the French government about Sharia.
How would that differ from the ‘Council of Islamic Ideology’ formed in Pakistan in 1962? Would a similar French body be much different? It would become virtually the same and it would BLOCK any protections for women or other religions persecuted by Muslims or block any communication that displeased the mullahs. Then, the blasphemy punishment of death would again be applied and we would be back where we started.
The Islamic ‘blasphemy’ law need not even included any true blasphemy to be put into effect. Whatever statement (or cartoon) that the mullahs don’t like is subject to capital punishment carried out by vigilantes. The truthfulness of the statement is not an issue … it must only be something the mullahs do not like people to hear … such as the rape rules in Islam permitting the rape of non-Muslims. So, telling the truth about Islam falls under the Sharia ‘blasphemy’ law as well.
(Confusing, isn’t it? Well, Mohammad Abdelkrim Alissa just made it more confusing intentionally with his taqiyya.)

MbS has made good first moves in reforming his country, but he needs to wind down the activities of the Muslim World League if he wants to show us that he’s really serious about reform. I however doubt that he’s gonna do that while Biden is still in power empowering Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates

Infidel,
These evil elements are so obsessed with Trump that they will be busy undoing everything he did in his term

So far, they’ve done the right thing regarding Afghanistan. Just wish that energy independence was higher on their priority list than climate change

The sad thing is that there are, no doubt, still some slow learning idiots who actually buy the utter bullshit from this lying Muslim piece of crap. No, of course, islam is all peace and light and wondrous tolerance and pacifism. I mean everyone knows that. How moronic would anyone have to be to believe anything these Muslims lying scumbags say. Any time you see their lips moving these slimy scum are lying to the hated infidels.

Samuel Paty’s murder has everything to do with Islam !!! Would any sane leader say that?

Muslim World League top dog: ‘The terrorist attack on Samuel Paty has nothing to do with Islam’
………………….
Mohammad Abdelkrim Alissa is lying like a rug.
If he *really* believed in this, he’d be taking this message to his violent coreligionists, instead of slinging Taqiyya at the credulous Infidels.
The “Muslim World League” is entirely funded by the Saudi government. And despite these claims, it works to shut down criticism of Islam. They have links to Hamas and Al Qaeda.
