The Qur’an says: “O prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their veils close around them. That will be better, so that they may be recognized and not molested. Allah is always forgiving, merciful.” (33:59) The corollary of that is that women who don’t draw their veils close around them may be molested, and it would be entirely their fault.
“Sharia in Italy: Burned with an iron for not wearing a veil,” translated from “Scharia in Italien: Mit dem Bügeleisen verbrannt, weil sie keine Verschleierung trug,” Unser Mitteleuropa, May 26, 2022 (thanks to Medforth):
She was abused at home for months, maybe even years: her mother is said to have even burned her with an iron, her brother not only beat her but even went so far as to hit her with a glass. An affair that has now led to a sentence of three years for the older brother and four months for the mother: the sister-in-law was also on trial, but was acquitted.
This is the verdict of the court of Brescia (Italy) in a case of ill-treatment and assault initiated following a complaint (2019) by a young girl of Pakistani origin, who was only 15 at the time.
The girl, who was harassed by her Islamic relatives, is said to have run away from home several times before reporting the incidents. She was later placed in a sheltered community and even attempted suicide in the family home. According to the public prosecutor, represented by public prosecutor Donato Greco, the abuse lasted for months. However, this has always been denied by family members, although the judges eventually acknowledged their responsibility.

Four months, then take her out, burn her with a hot iron, beat her and send her back to pakis land without her scarf.
Jesus said, “Do to others as you wish to be done to you” This scum who was meant to be a “mother” to the young girl, evidently wants mistreatment. give her all that she has asked.

Between Jesus and Mohammed, somehistory, there is no comparison—as I know you know. A study of Jesus only redounds to Jesus’ credit. A study of Mohammed should result in total revulsion.

Totally agree, Wellington.
And the ‘Golden Rule” if followed by mozlums…whole different world. But, if they *understood* it and still went with the evil, might learn a thing or two when they were treated as they had treated.

So true, Somehistory and Wellington.

How is burning with an iron less culpable than beating?
Wellington says
Islam is rooted in mental illness—no other major religion is and I want to make this very clear. It is possible to argue that all major religions are rooted in error (and I am not necessarily arguing this) but only Islam has mental illness attached all over it.
This has been my “starting point” for more than 40 years now (after three courses in Middle Eastern history in the 1970’s, many other history courses which touched upon Islam, an example being a course in Byzantine history, many discussions with a very astute Catholic priest {recently deceased in his mid-90’s} way back then who was highly informed on sundry religions and himself knew that Islam was the “odd man out” among major faiths all the while admiring other religions, especially Buddhism, and, additionally, much reading on my own, including the putrid, silly and profoundly disturbing Koran, not to mention Robert Spencer’s many works and articles).
Mankind has a major religion whose reputed founder was a narcissist, a fraud (though a very clever one) and a brutal psychopath. Oh yeah, see the many inherent problems with Islam and why burning a daughter with a hot iron follows as a matter of course if one is a Muslim? I do. Many do. Many more need to do, including a hell of a lot of Muslims who once and for all have to give up the ghost and abandon Mo’s warped creed completely.

Wellington,
40 years ago I was completely clueless as to what islam was all about, I thought it was just the same as any other religion. Even though I had visited several islamic countries in the past it was during the Arab spring that I got my first serious taste of what of what islam and muslims are all about.
I was with my family cruising down the Nile when rioting started to break out in Cairo. Anyway I didn’t think much of it at the time, as we were nowhere near the trouble. The next day our boat stopped at luxor to visit one of the temples. On our way to the temple our coach came under attack by a mob throwing bricks and anything they could get their hands on at us. It was absolutely terrifying. I just couldn’t understand why they hated us so much.
I was so relieved to get out of that country, that I vowed I would never visit an islamic country again. It was this event that prompted me to look into islam, and the finally dropped.

………….
John, exactly the same thing happened to my English cousin and her husband. They were unwisely taking an anniversary cruise down the Nile when the “Arab Spring” broke out there.
All Western tourists just wanted to get out. My cousin and her husband were lucky enough to get a flight to London–they live in north London. But there were Americans, Germans, French, Swedish, and even Australians on the flight. Some of them didn’t even know how they were going to get home, but they just wanted to reach a civilized nation.
Sorry you had such a scary time of it. My cousin and her husband didn’t suffer any direct attacks, but they heard about too many cases to want to stick around.

The first few weeks of our holiday went okay, it’s after our coach got attacked things started going down hill. Once we got back to our boat we weren’t allowed off at all, there were heavily armed guards everywhere.
It was such a relief to get on that plane, it really was a terrifying experience. Your cousin and her husband may not have had a direct attack but it was scary for all of us.

Good summary of Islam’s nature, Wellington. It’s a disgusting, bent and twisted leftover from mankind’s barbaric past which needs to go. I’m with you, john, in that I have no desire to visit any Muslim countries. They seem to me to be backward, primitive places with nothing of a positive nature. The worry is the way that islam is being imported into all our countries. It is definitely something that our societies are far better off without.

There are parts of the Muslim world I would like to visit, Tim–mostly for their pre-Islamic history. My mom-in-law, who was a museum docent specializing in ancient Egypt, visited Egypt in the late 1990s, not long after the terrible Luxor massacre. I won’t be off to Dar-al-Islam myself, though.
tim gallagher says
That’s true, gravenimage. I suppose that visiting Egypt and other countries for their pre-islamic historical sites would be interesting. Islam has conquered and buggered up a lot of parts of the world. Anyway, my own travelling days are over. Way back in the early 1980s I visited the USA, Mexico and many countries in western Europe, in the 1990s I visited a couple of countries in Asia, visiting people I knew there, and that’s enough for me. A friend of mine tells me about people I went to school with, all of us up in our 70s and they are travelling the world since finishing work, but I say, you know, if I went travelling I’d spend all my time sleeping, not enough energy these days. I might do a few trips in Australia, but mainly I’ll stay home and potter around and feed the cats that have wandered in looking for a safe haven which I’m happy to give them..
Westman says
Muhammad created Islam for an unwanted isolated society with no options. War was its prescribed path to expansion, a method that has become anachronistic as it lies vulnerable to the technology of unbelieving nations.
These, “Honor” – without honor – incidences are the fits of a dying ideology whose time has passed. The free West just shakes its head at those, “poor devils”, who believe in such drivel without considering how brutal its dying spasms might become.
tim gallagher says
I wish, Westman, that islam would get on with it and die out. With over a billion members though, it’s going to take a long time for that happy day for humankind to arrive.
gravenimage says
Spot on, Wellington. I knew that Islam had an ugly history, but I didn’t know much about what it specifically taught until I started to do research right after 9/11. I started with the Qur’an–even knowing nothing about chronology or abrogation I was shocked by the unrelenting violence of the creed.

Parental love Muslim style. No doubt about it, islam produces huge numbers of evil monsters and the torturers of this girl are just a few of the specimens. I’m sure that there are some loving parents who are Muslims, but far too many would not recognise love and kindness if those human attributes were right in front of them..

Italy: Muslima burns her daughter with a hot iron for not wearing the veil
……………..
Just horrifying. Glad her family is being prosecuted–and I hope they are deported after they serve their sentences.
Andrew Blackadder says
I was in a discussion with a young English guy in Thailand a few years back, he was on holiday, I lived there at that time, no more, anyway he informed me in a very pandering manner that only a few muslims are jihadi and wish us harm, so I asked him out of the 1.6 Billion muslims around the World how many does he think wish us harm, so I suggested 50%, no, no, no he said, okay hows about 25% no,no,no, and so we settled on 10% he agreed with a big smile on his face, so I asked him if 10% of 1.6 Billion means that ”ONLY” 160 Million muslims wish him harm does he feel safer now…
Crickets, crickets, crickets… Ya cant fix that kind of stupid.
James Lincoln says
If my math is correct Andrew, even 1/10 of 1% would equal 1.6 million jihadists.
