What is not recognized anywhere is the fact that this kind of operation has been pursued all over what is known today as the Islamic world. That is why Christian and other non-Muslim populations have been reduced to only a handful of people. The overwhelming Christian majorities of the Middle East and North Africa before the Arab invasion didn’t see the wonderfulness of Islam and convert. They were subjugated and made to suffer so much deprivation that they eventually converted in large numbers just to have a chance at a decent life.
“Azerbaijan Pursues ‘Elimination of the Entire Christian Population and Its Churches’ in Nagorno-Karabakh,” by John Hayward, Breitbart, September 6, 2023 (thanks to K):
The congressional Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, chaired by Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ), held a hearing Wednesday to discuss the plight of Armenian Christians trapped by an Azerbaijani blockade in the contested Nagorno-Karabakh region. The commission heard testimony from experts who said Azerbaijan’s actions clearly constituted genocide, with complicity from Turkey and the Islamist forces it has dispatched into the region.
Nagorno-Karabakh is a mountainous territory about the size of Delaware in Azerbaijan that has been inhabited by Armenians for centuries. The Azerbaijanis are mostly Muslims, while the Armenians are Christian.
The Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh fought an unsuccessful war of secession in 1994 following the collapse of the Soviet Union, then remained as a semi-autonomous colony supported by the Armenian state.
Sporadic clashes over the years erupted into a full-blown war in 2020, which concluded with a cease-fire brokered by Russia in November of that year. Azerbaijan was generally seen as victor in the conflict, as Armenia was required to hand over control over some border territories.
Fighting broke out again in late 2022 despite the presence of Russian peacekeepers. Both the Armenians and Azeris accused each other of violating cease-fire terms with unprovoked ground attacks and artillery barrages.
In December 2022, Azerbaijan began blockading a road known as the Lachin Corridor, the only land route between the Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh and the nation of Armenia. The blockade was initially launched by a group of self-professed “environmental activists” to protest illegal mining operations, but testimony at the Human Rights Commission on Wednesday made it clear they were actually agents of Azerbaijan.
Testifying before the commission on Wednesday was Luis Moreno Ocampo, a former prosecutor for the International Criminal Court (ICC) who published a report in August about the Lachin Corridor blockade. Ocampo’s report said the blockade was Azerbaijan’s attempt to use “starvation as a means of genocide.”
“There are no crematories and there are no machete attacks. Starvation is the invisible genocide weapon. Without immediate dramatic change, this group of Armenians will be destroyed in a few weeks,” Ocampo warned in August.
Ocampo explained to the Human Rights Commission that there are essentially two types of genocide: murderous violence with weapons, and deliberate efforts to create conditions that will wipe out an entire population. He said the Lachin blockade was clearly an example of the latter, as it deprives the Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians of food, gas, electricity, and medicine. The Azeris have blocked the Red Cross from reaching the Armenians, and even turned back Russian peacekeepers.
“This is an ongoing genocide. It is happening now,” he said. “There is no doubt that genocidal intentions are there.”
Ocampo rendered harsh judgment against Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliev, as did the commission’s other expert witness, Georgetown University adjunct professor David L. Philips. Both said Aliev was well aware of the humanitarian crisis created by the Lachin blockade.
“The responsible person is clearly President Aliev. No doubt, no doubt,” Ocampo said.
Philips said Aliev’s goal was “elimination of the entire Christian population and its churches.”
“There is no doubt that genocidal intentions are there,” Ocampo said.
Philips extensively quoted remarks from Aliev and his top officials that indicated their resolve to wipe out the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh once and for all.
“The language used by President Aliev and his officials leaves no question of their genocidal intentions,” he said, noting that Aliev has worked to “dehumanize” the Armenians among his own people and pave the way for their destruction….

Starvation is just one of many tools used by Turks/Azerbaijanis to complete the genocide.
I couldn’t get the video to play, but I’m glad that somebody in Congress is paying attention.

It wouldn’t begin for me either, until I moved the cursor along to 4:40; then it began.
mozlums murdering Christians. the goal is the same as with the Jews….wipe out all Christians and take the property and belongings.
Then they can declare satan the winner. But, they will not succeed.

Will the uniparty – to this day enamored w/ NATO – finally concede that Turkey is not one of our allies? If our political pooh-bahs, who insist all the time that we are a beacon for human rights worldwide while justifying our endless foreign adventures, can’t condemn Turkey and Azerbaijan, then they are pretty much giving lie to that claim, & we can rev up the pressure to either fix that, or be completely isolationist
I have seen some people opine that the reason that the West turns a blind eye there is an inate hostility to the Orthodox churches, be it Russia, Serbia, Greece or Armenia. I do think that there is a latent bias in that direction

I was really shocked to read this: “The overwhelming Christian majorities of the Middle East and North Africa before the Arab invasion didn’t see the wonderfulness of Islam and convert. They were subjugated and made to suffer so much deprivation that they eventually converted in large numbers just to have a chance at a decent life.” How sad. I hope that in their hearts they remained followers of Christ. It just seems that against Islam the Church just buckles under to avoid persecution by this most demonic and vile hatefilled false religion and its false demon- possessed ‘prophet’.

Since mozlums claim that everyone is born mozlum,…which is a big lie…I don’t believe that True Christians would actually convert; but that molzums claim converts…another big lie.
And according to a mozlum I spoke with personally, anyone who says those disgusting words about the demonic fake prophet, becomes mozlum. One could say those words to get the mozlum to stop the pressure, without actually ‘converting.’
God judges the heart. Recall Paul said that to “the Jew, he became as a Jew, ….in order to save some.”
If becoming “a Jew, which Paul was born a Jew,” to save Jews for Christ, then those who are living “in the throne of satan,” must be seen as needing a way out…which God makes for them in order for them to endure it.
Abraham told a ruler that Sarah was his sister in order to save his life. He didn’t have to also say Sarah was his wife.
So, if some Christians said the words that mozlums believe make them mozlums, it didn’t have to mean they actually thought of themselves as mozlum, nor that God saw them as being unfaithful. God is merciful, after all.

As its been said, the first thing that fascists/tyrants do is disarm the population so they have no way to defend themselves.
I think history would’ve played out very differently in 1930s Nazi Germany if the Jews were all well armed.
If you want to stop the genocide then the world has to see it taking place. The trouble is that the UN is dominated by Muslim and Communist countries who are all authoritarian regimes and oppose democracy.
They’re all focused on tiny Israel…on the fake genocide of the Palestinians so that people can be distracted from the real genocides that Muslims are engaged in.
What we need to do is arm Christians and other non-Muslims around the world so they can defend themselves from the Jihad being waged against them.
I hope we end up in WW3 against Islam in the coming years and decades until it is no longer a threat like Nazism.
I know there may be friction and disharmony amongst non-Muslims, but we have far more in common with one another than we do with Muslims and it’d be best if we all supported each other in every theater of conflict against Muslims around the world.
We know what Muslims are about now and that they oppose all the things we hold dear, like freedom, democracy, equality, etc. We just need to work together to defeat this ideology.

Yes.
Even small arms – used correctly – would have made things a lot harder for the Nazis.

Yet Israel supported azerbaijan with weapons in that 2020 war. Israel does not care about the judeo Christian bs that conservatives and Republicans keep on shouting.

I believe that there is NO muslim country that is truly an ally to America. Turkey should be remover from NATO and sanctioned for its human rights violations.
Joe1 says
Yes, it is impossible for them to be an American ally. Their religion is all about conquering the world for the Muslim elite. Hence, martyrdom, isolationism (no integration between Islam and anyone else), and so forth are used towards that goal.

One very good way to describe this twenty –first century “War of Ideas” is that of a great a conflict and a clash between Christianity and Islam. As explained by the Christian author, William Wagner,, in his book which is entitled HOW ISLAM PLANS TO CHANGE THE WORLD had explained on page 155 about a meeting that he had with a Muslim cleric , which reads “Several years ago one Imam told me that ,prior to 1990, the greatest enemy to Islam was Communism but now it is the Christian missions.” Further, on page 208 the Wagner had written about some zealous Muslims that “They have failed to stop Christian missions. They see Christian missions as their number one enemy.” On the very next page the reader is informed that “Christianity remains the number one buffer against Islam, a fact readily recognized by those who seek a world wild ummah.” [1]
[1] Ummah – The community of all those who affirm Islam.
Walter Sieruk says
There are many Muslims who strongly dislike Christians. Some Muslims even hate Christians so much that they even become violence against them and burn their Bibles. One reason for this is that in the mosques and madrasas the Muslim clerics, as the imams who speak many awful and unproven terrible things against Christians and Christian doctrine. So much so the many Muslims get all worked up against Christians and Christian teachings and some those Muslims commit violent actions against Christians. Such false religious teachers, as those Muslim clerics, who speak to people unfounded and invalid evil things about Christians and Christian doctrines have been described in the Bible. For the Bible informs the reader in Second Peter 2:12. “They speak evil of things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption.” [N.K.J.V.]
It also should be make clear that in this specific above Bible verse, as well as in John 3:16. The word “Perish” does not mean loss of being but loss of well-being. As in going to ruin by ending up in languishing in torment in a terrible place of suffering that the Bible calls hell. Luke 16:19-31.
