“We fully condemn her actions”
‘Missing persons’ style posters of some of the people kidnapped by Hamas and being held hostage in Gaza have appeared in Jewish communities and in public places all over the country. And Hamas supporters have taken to tearing them down. Some of those have been captured on video. And it tends to happen on college campuses.
Who would do such a thing? Apparently a former ADL intern.
One of the NYU students who brazenly ripped down posters of Israeli hostages is an activist “extremely passionate about fighting racial profiling” who blamed her behavior on misplaced anger.
Yazmeen Deyhimi — a junior at the top university who once worked for the Anti-Defamation League — admitted to tearing apart banners that were plastered outside NYU’s Tisch Hall, in a shameless act that was caught on video.
Deyhimi came clean on her Instagram account after the action ignited social media outcry and calls for the school to hold the perpetrators accountable.
“I have found it increasingly difficult to know my place as a biracial brown woman, especially during these highly volatile times,” she wrote.
She’s mastered the patois of wokeness. And the ADL has mastered hiring enemies.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Deyhimi is an advocate against Muslim bigotry and spent a summer working with the ADL as a CSC Education Intern when she was just 15 years old.
“After review, we can confirm that one of the participants was part of an ADL high-school level summer internship in 2019,” a spokesperson for the organization told The Post.
“We fully condemn her actions and hope that the apology she issued is the first step towards working to repair the harm and deep hurt her actions caused.”
The ADL has since taken down a blog post announcing the Long Island native as one of the 12 student leaders joining the program, describing Deyhimi as “extremely passionate about fighting racial profiling and championing gender equality.”
While Jonathan Greenblatt has performed okay during the current crisis, I warned that the changes he made to the ADL have actually infected the group with extremists who hate Israel and Jews. That was on display earlier this year when Greenblatt ended up becoming the voice of reason compared to who was staffing the ADL.
That was recently brought home when ‘Jewish Currents’, a site derived from a Communist magazine that cheered the rape and murder of Jews during the Hebron Massacre, published audio from a Zoom chat in which ADL employees attacked Greenblatt for being critical of BDS and the anti-Israel movement.
To Greenblatt’s credit, when asked if there’s a place for anti-Israel employees at the ADL, he finally states, “if you still feel like you can’t square the fact that anti-Zionism is antisemitism, then maybe this isn’t the place for you. Like really, if you’re hearing what I’m saying, and you just don’t agree with it. You think it’s okay to deny Jews their rights? Again, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with saying, “You know what, I don’t think this is the right place for me.”
The ADL really needs to clean house. The organization’s transformation into a generic woke diversity outlet has made it incapable of performing its core mission. The Hamas attack was enough of a wakeup call that the ADL ponderously pivoted to actually performing its main task, documenting antisemitism, but it’s been slow and kludgy. Greenblatt’s performance on some chat shows notwithstanding, the ADL has lost touch with its original mission, and is staffed by leftists who think the organization needs to be about BLM, transgender rights, and Islamophobia, and actively hate Israel and Jews.
The response to the Hamas butchery has been a wake-up call for some on the Left. I’m not optimistic that it will lead to change within the ADL though.

Oh, poor baby; she doesn’t know who she is….as a “bi-racial brown person.”
Her claimed *confusion* on the matter is the root of her unconscionable actions? No, it is not. It’s a hatred for others.
What matters is morality and ethics….not race or color. Learn morality, ethics, a sense of what is “right” and knowing when something is “wrong,” and stop the lies. Then you won’t have to worry about “finding your place” and your skin color.
Use this time to learn to apply the “Golden Rule,” of “Do to others what you wish to be done to you.”

Another liar, doing the same evil deed. His lawyer is hassan shibly….a name familiar to readers of this site.
“He acted on his best judgment at the time and removed them without any ill intention for the Jewish community,” said ElKoussa’s lawyer, Hassan Shibly, the founder and lead attorney of Muslim Legal, adding that his client has been “slaughtered online and paid a big price without even being given a chance to clarify.”
Shibly said ElKoussa had the “best of intentions” when he ripped down the fliers in the Miami neighborhood of Brickell this week because he was concerned the posters would “escalate further conflict.”

It’s amazing that so many “biracial brown” people think that using such descriptions – “I’m a victim” – are valid excuses for bad or illegal behavior. Like, “I’m going to rob this upscale business because me and my buddies are owed reparations for things we never experienced by people who are long dead.”
How is it that US citizen Hispanics value family, male responsibility, productivity, and don’t make racial excuses for personal failure?
The woman-face-slugging Muslim thug in NYC thought there were special appearance characteristics to Jews. Where did he get his assurance that he didn’t need “victim” privilege to strike her? Maybe Yazmeen Deyhimi was privately using the same source to justify ripping down posters? After all, violating kufur laws don’t count with Allah. Just don’t get caught.

Slightly off-topic, but “Do unto others as you wish that others would do unto you.” is much more resonant than any modern re-write.
