The Hamas murders reverberated on college campuses, mostly from pro-Palestinian student groups that were outspoken in their support of Hamas. At Harvard, 33 student groups, most but not all consisting of Muslim members, declared in a joint letter their solidarity with, and support for, Hamas. After this there was a backlash, headed by hedge fund director Bill Ackman, a Harvard alumnus, who in a tweet demanded that Harvard make public the list of students signing the letter supporting Hamas:
I have been asked by a number of CEOs if @harvard would release a list of the members of each of the Harvard organizations that have issued the letter assigning sole responsibility for Hamas’ heinous acts to Israel, so as to insure that none of us inadvertently hire any of their members. If, in fact, their members support the letter they have released, the names of the signatories should be made public so their views are publicly known. One should not be able to hide behind a corporate shield when issuing statements supporting the actions of terrorists, who, we now learn, have beheaded babies, among other inconceivably despicable acts.
So far a dozen other CEOs have announced that they, too, want to know those names of students supporting Hamas, so that they do not “inadvertently hire” any of them. And there has also been criticism of President Claudine Gay, including by former Harvard President Larry Summers, for her failure in her first statement on the war to clearly denounce Hamas.
In response, President Gay, feeling the growing pressure on her of both alumni and faculty members to say something halfway decent about the atrocities committed by terrorists in Israel, again said so very little in her latest and deeply sincere videotaped address here to the so-called “Harvard community.” She of the bland mind and blank soul managed to offer only single mentions of the words “Hamas” and “terrorism”; Israel was not mentioned. She’s a trimmer, offering her bromides and niff-noff meant to offend no one, but in the present case, I’m afraid, that will not do.
People have asked me where we stand. So, let me be clear.
Our University rejects terrorism – that includes the barbaric atrocities perpetrated by Hamas.
Our University rejects hate—hate of Jews, hate of Muslims, hate of any group of people based on their faith, their national origin, or any aspect of their identity.
The “hate” on Oct. 7 was not directed at Muslims, but against Jews.
And our University embraces a commitment to free expression.
That commitment extends even to views that many of us find objectionable, even outrageous. We do not punish or sanction people for expressing such views. But that is a far cry from endorsing them.
She is saying this regarding the students’ support for Hamas. Whether she would be so charitable toward students who spoke critically about the jihad passages in the Qur’an remains unclear.

Harvard a century ago or so represented the best of America in the field of education. Now it not only does not represent this any longer but it has become a parody of itself. A cruel and twisted parody.
Harvard sucks. Leftism has succeeded again in ruining something great. And Leftism is still going for the biggest prize of all, i.e., the ruination of all of America.

Harvard a century or so ago was busy excluding Jews from its hallowed halls.

Great to see that CEOs are being proactive in heading off any chance of mistakenly hiring these leftist, terrorist sympathisers.
It would be a simple step to blacklist any and all who have put their names to supporting Hamas.
For far too long universities have been used as a breeding ground for radicals and extremists rather than as centres of higher education.
Free thinking should always be encouraged at universities, but also moral behaviours so as to prevent radicalism becoming the norm instead of education.

Bravo to those CEO’s! Maybe the American public can get that list of CEOs so we can make use of their products!

If you are a company looking for employees, any resume that has the word “Harvard” in it – please either shred it, if it’s a paper resume, or delete it, if it’s in your inbox

Typical fare from anti-Semite stooge of past great university.

This is exactly what you get with these retarded leftists. All their claims of tolerance and progress are false.
Conservative Americans have been the best allies Israel has ever had, but we shouldn’t be involved in a religious and ethnic conflict that has little to nothing to do with what’s best for Americans. Conservatives may criticize Israeli policy or influence in American politics, but it’s the left that wants Jews DEAD or IMPRISONED.
Any American Jew who votes democrat is voting for their own destruction. The democrats WILL keep defending, funding, and cheering on jihadist terrorism if you let them. Don’t they realize that when leftism is taken to it’s conclusion that they will be seen as nothing more than White oppressors who deserve to be wiped out in the name of equity?
The mask is off. Don’t look away.

Yeah sure lady. 1 percent of your professors at harvard are conservative so take your BS commitment to free expression and shove it. That is not a representation of America. I bet harvard is in to the DEI stuff too as long as their bigotry is allowed to continue. It shouldn’t just be CEOs that are boycotting harvard grads. Would you want your doctor lawyer accountant or anything else that is important to you to be a harvard grad? I wouldn’t.

A few years ago, I was mentoring a medical resident from Harvard Medical School .
He was lazy, arrogant – and actually not that bright.
Just one case, but I suspect there were more like him.

In the 70s Lebanese Christians took in the palis that were kicked out of Jordan due to instigating a revolution in Jordan. The Lebanese Christians believed it was their Christian duty to take them in. Look at Lebanon now with Hezbollah (much more powerful than hamas) threatening Israel. Already we have a black congressman (Jamaal Bowman) and other leftists calling for the acceptance of pali refugees in to America. These leftists are mad crazy. They have no knowledge of history or the real world. In my opinion it us us or them. They made it so. When you understand the grave threat of genocide against non-muslim Black Africans and the silence of Black Americans you realize that the USA has a big problem within the Black community. Black lives matter, yeah, sure they do.

Send all of these foreign muslim/islamic students and faculty back to their home country and expel all who are Americans from our publicly funded American institutions.
And just why are we educating students who are being sponsored by governments who are plainly our enemy.
Nothing like training and helping your enemy defeat you.
But hey why not we supply them with weapons.
How dumb is that?
