Fully agree w/ you. While I get the argument of some Republicans that McCarthy has been better than his predecessors – Ryan, Boehner, Hastert, it’s still not been good enough. Whether it’s the blank check that’s been given to the Dems on Ukraine, or the inability to do much about the deep state run amuck, McCarthy has been defeating the argument for the GOP running things there
Looks like the next speaker would be Jordan, which is what it should have been in 2018 itself, let alone 2020. I do hope he starts putting the skids on all Dem operations, even if it means a government shutdown. As for Matt Gaetz, I hope he gets to head the Judiciary Committee
I’ve heard some of the arguments against Gaetz from Mark Levin, who’s irked at him allying w/ Nancy Mace and the Dems. But Gaetz was right when he told Eric Bolling that what’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander

The John Birch Society has been saying for all of its 65 years that there exists an active conspiracy to get the USA into a NWO, global governance, controlled by the same people planning out how the world should live. Only the USA, with its Constitution and an abiding remnant of independence which exists in the hearts of many of its people, stands in the way. The rest of the world is basically already ensnared. Try naming any other country offering meaningful, freedom-based opposition to globalism. E.g., Orban’s Fidelsz party fights the Muslim immigration issue, but it was four-square to get Hungary into the EU.
The USA is the pinata. Get the USA to fall and the NWO becomes a hard and fast reality. What the JBS has been warning about stands in front of us.
Hence, destabilizing the USA – by any means, rampant, irresponsible spending; open immigration to dilute the very idea of citizenship; climate hysteria; mass medication & government-controlled healthcare; public schools indoctrinating not educating; proposal after proposal to fasten more government onto the people as the answer to the problems caused by having too much government in the first place; and on and on – has been Job #1 for the globalists
The League of Nations (via the Treaty of Versailles), proposed by Wilson, was wisely rejected by the US Senate. But like rust, the forces for globalism never sleep.* It took another widespread war, but the globalists got their kernel of the NWO in the form of the UN. And this time, only two US Senators said “no” to the UN Charter. And this time the NWO headquarters wouldn’t be in faraway Geneva, but sited in the very target country/system that the globalists needed to defeat. And who donated the money ($8.5 M in 1946) to buy that land in NYC? None other than a member in good standing among those globalists (in that case, John D. Rockefeller Jr.).
We face considerable foes of freedom and they’re on the march. They’re playing for keeps. Matt Gaetz did us all a service in disrupting the Uniparty. His effort will be fleeting if the American voter doesn’t become aware that the overall problem is Too Much Government. Only with less government can freedom rebound. If the Constitution were followed as written, fedgov would be 5% of its present size. Is that not a testament to the worthlessness of the Article VI oath of office taken by so many Members of Congress over the last 110 years (since the 16th Am.).
* “It is the common fate of the indolent to see their rights become a prey to the active. The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt.” John Philpot Curran (1750-1817).
