Israel has launched a “genocidal attack” on Gaza, stated Mahmoud Darwish Professor of Palestinian Studies at Brown University Beshara B. Doumani during the October 26 “Gaza in History Teach In” webinar. Jadiliyya’s second installment of the “Gaza in Context Teach-In” continued the same screeds of “genocide” and other mendacious rhetoric in a previously analyzed first installment.
After a brief webinar introduction by Jadaliyya moderator Bassam Haddad, director of George Mason University’s Middle East and Islamic Studies Program, Doumani tore into Israel. “Israel is a terrorist state because it acts as if Palestinian lives don’t matter,” he stated—an unintentionally revealing statement given his former position as president of Ramallah’s Birzeit University. This terrorist-infiltrated institution counts alumni such as convicted terrorists Marwan Barghouti and Kamal Nasser, both of whom the Birzeit campus celebrates annually.
Doumani concluded that Israel’s military offensive to uproot a murderous Hamas in Gaza “is not a war on Gaza,” but rather “a war on all Palestinians to perpetuate a settler colonial project focused on actually the rest of historic Palestine.” “This project is designed to take as much land from the Palestinians and to build as many colonies as possible while herding the quote-unquote excess Palestinian population into as little land as possible,” he added. Such analysis would befuddle Israelis, whose military withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005, only to see Hamas take power two years later.
Facts are not Doumani’s strong suit, despite his references to “obvious truth.” In his presentation he showed the map series purporting an Israeli theft of Palestinian land over decades of Zionist development. Numerous analysts have debunked the deceptive nature of these maps.
“Obvious truth” for Doumani also meant that Israel’s defensive actions in the Gaza Strip against Hamas atrocities had no justification. “This is not a war; it’s a military onslaught against the captive and overwhelmingly civilian population, half of whom are children,” he claimed, although the term “children” covers anyone under the age of 18. While Israel often takes significant steps to prevent civilian losses in combat, Hamas’s use of civilians as human shields did not seem to concern him.
Doumani wallowed in victimhood, the principal currency of the Leftist-Islamist, Red-Green. “The Palestinian condition stripped down to its core is one of ethnic cleansing and massacres, which is what we see in Gaza today,” he stated, ignoring that many individuals have exploited Hamas’s totalitarian control to become millionaires. The massive growth in the Palestinian population and its economic development since Israel’s independence in 1948 belies his trail of tears for Palestinians, who enjoy living standards much better than those of most Arabs.
Mythology also dominated Doumani’s assessment of the history of Palestinian identity as he condemned an “iron law that the Palestinians have been subject to for over one hundred years.” This is namely “a refusal by the powers that be, Israel and its backers Great Britain and then the United States, to accept the existence of the Palestinians as a political community,” he explained. His fellow panelist, University of California-Santa Barbara Associate Professor of History Sherene Seikaly, concurred, noting “in language the absolute denial and erasure of a Palestinian peoplehood at every turn.” Yet multiple observers have documented how a Palestinian Arab identity did not begin to emerge until the 1960s, as before then the Arabs of the British Palestine Mandate had often identified as southern Syrians.
Such webinars and teach-ins with Middle East studies luminaries like Doumani are interminable—and rarely improve with age. Given such fake historiography about the Palestinians and their history, it is no wonder that Gaza has never found peace, but—at the hands of cynical Arab leaders—serves as a base for jihadist attacks against Israel. While Americans have limited influence over Palestinian decisions to make peace with Israel or continue fruitless conflict, Americans can and should at least curtail their support for scholarly frauds like Beshara Doumani.

Know your enemy. Bosch Fawstin, a former muslim whose family is from Albania, grew up in an EXTREMELY MODERATE muslim family in Bronx, New York, and is now a cartoonist, winner of the Mohamed cartoon contest, who has to live in hiding because of thousands of death threats. Here is an example of one of the thousands of death threats he has received, “I’m going to rape you and cut your head off, and Islam means peace and don’t you forget it.”
After watching his entire interview, what I came away with is a powerful message – that to cave into threats and violence by muslims, to not take action against them, is to strengthen and embolden them. We need to fight islam and muslims NOW – the longer we wait, the more entrenched, emboldened and dangerous they get.
Bosch makes the point that has become obvious to the world after the horrifying atrocities committed against Jews by muslims invading from Gaza – that it islam and muslims are evil as a group. The core of this evil is not Hamas, it is not Al-Qaeda, it is not Hezbollah – it is islam itself. The the vast majority of muslims are evil and idolize Hitler. When we were fighting the nazis in WWII, we didn’t talk about moderate nazis and radical nazis – it was just nazis. Islam is waging war against all non-muslims and we need to battle against them like they are doing in Israel.
I have transcribed part of Mr. Fawstin’s interview as follows.
According to Mr. Fawstin, “Even moderate muslims have an immoderate hatred of Jews and immoderate contempt for women. Almost every single woman in my family was beaten, first by their fathers and brothers, and then by their husbands who they were forced into arranged marriages with. They basically met their spouses on the wedding day. We were a moderate, not too devout family. We had a quran in the house, but it was in arabic and no one could read arabic. We went to mosque once or twice a year.”
“A cousin told me and brother that Hitler would have loved us because we were blond/red haired, blue eyed – and there is an overriding admiration by average, moderate muslims for Hitler. Why? Because Hitler killed more Jews than anyone. The only complaints I heard about Hitler in my own family was that he didn’t kill enough Jews. Not that Hitler wasn’t a muslim – they didn’t care about that.”
“There was an imam at mosque and he used to direct us to do the prayers. I took it pretty seriously because I wanted to be good, how to follow this guy and my family’s religion.”
“Even today muslims laugh me off because of my looks, which tells you about the racism within islam, if you’re not arab you’re not really muslim.”
“I came home one day my mother was crying. I asked her why and she told me her first girl grandchild, a baby girl, was born and she was mourning the birth because in islam women are considered inferior. They will have a miserable life and my mother’s mind it was inevitable that this little girl will have a terrible life under islam.”
“If you brought home the wrong bologna (with pork), you got a beating.”
“When you are raised in islamic society, you run across people and they’re good regardless of what you’re taught. I had a Jewish friend ever since I was a kid. You get taught about the holocaust at school but you don’t at home. It’s like there is a disconnect. Jews were slaughtered for being Jews by Nazis an we’re supposed to hate Jews for what reason? They never give you a reason to hate Jews – it’s nothing that they do or say – it is an inherent hatred for Jews. It’s just that they’re evil and you have to take it on faith – literally. ”
“Islam has hatred for all non-muslims, but there’s a special hatred for Jews. When Mohamed died, word was sent out that he didn’t just die of natural causes, he was poisoned by a Jew, which put the nail in the coffin of their Jew hatred.” The muslims cite a hadith (a report on the deeds and sayings of the prophet) that says Muhammad told his child-wife Aisha on his deathbed that a Jewish woman from Khaibar had served him poisoned meat three years earlier – the cause of his death three years later.
“I was searching for truth and morality in my house and the fundamental dishonesty about everything really bothered me. Like America, it’s a bad place but they came here from communist Albania, they escaped to come to freedom and say there’s too much freedom here.”
“After a number of years, i said this is not what i think is good and right and true. There was a fundamental dishonest about America, about good, evil, who’s good and who’s evil.”
“I was fortunate that my family were moderates because Mohammed told muslims to kill those who leave islam. The greatest crime in Islam is not murder, lying, stealing, cheating – it is non-belief in islam. It’s a complete moral inversion – their morality starts from that base – no matter what, muslims are good and non-muslims are evil. No matter what they do or say. The Quran tells them those who have not submitted to islam are evil.”
“A moderate Turkish muslim said those who resist Islam cause wars and are responsible for them. He isn’t okay with that but he is acknowledging that by merely resisting Islam, you are at war with Islam, whether an individual or a country. You have not taken your position as a natural being of earth, which is to be on your knees to the will of a malevolent God, Allah.”
He told his parents, “I’ve learned nothing of truth and morality.” He wanted out.
“We were at a cousin’s house and the wife said something and her husband kicked her down the stairs in front of everyone. And no one did anything or they would get their ass kicked.”
“I left islam and didn’t look back until 9/11. When 9/11 hit, I was in New York going to art school and my sister called. When the second plane hit, everyone knew it was jihad, the first plane hit it could have been an accident, the second plane absolutely not. That’s when I began to think about my background, what I could do and say as an artist.”
“I decided to take on not only the jihadist, not only Al-Qaeda, but Islam itself, the ideology and those who most embody it. That’s the enemy we face, islam itself, the ideology and most of its followers.”
“People were not prepared to understand what we were facing because islam is a religion, it’s people wearing robes and cloths, and they’re considered brown, which leftists talk. about.”
“So I want to take on this enemy in a way where I can bring my unique insight into it. While I was doing that I was rereading the Quran and dozens of books on islam and jihad.”
“So I said, what’ the last thing this enemy wants to face in this world is a ruthless ex-muslims who understands the language of the enemy and is willing to do to them the last thing in the world that they think would be done to them which is destroy them, pummel them out of existence.”
So he created the comic book character of Pigman, who is an ex-muslim who wears pig skin leather. He exploits the islamic enemy’s “pigotry” because muslims believe if they come into any contact with pork, they will lose their shot at paradise because they are tainted.
“The pig was the ugliest thing in the world, the worst, most disgusting creature so I used this against the enemy.”
Fawstin talks about what islam is really about – lies, hatred, violence, brutality. All muslims hate all non-muslims but have an extreme hatred of Jews. Mohammed genocidally wiped out the Jews in the Jewish cities of Mecca and Medina and took them over and they are the most holy cities in islam. One imam told He indicated that muslims don’t care whether a person is good or bad, moral or immoral – they just hate people because they are told to by their religion, their leaders. To question this and anything concerning islam is to invite the death penalty.
A muslim hadith (a report on the deeds and sayings of the prophet) that says Muhammad told his child-bride Aisha on his deathbed that a Jewish woman from Khaibar had served him poisoned meat THREE YEARS EARLIER and this caused his death. They used the same lie to stir up more hatred by claiming Yassir Arafat being murdered the same way. Ridiculous but in islam to question anything concerning Mohammed merits the death penalty.
In muslim values he witnessed was brutally beating and raping women, forcing women into arranged marriages. The moderate part of islam is that his family did not murder him when he left islam – because that is the worst crime in islam. He went on to become an anti-islamic cartoonist.
“Some of the worst family members I’ve ever known became “better” muslims after 9/11. They started to work at mosques, embrace the religion more. They were the biggest liars, the most corrupt people, and it was 9/11, a day of horror, that they chose to embrace their faith.”
“Mohamed believed that he was the final word on the Abrahamic monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity) and he wanted the Jews to convert to Islam but he couldn’t convince them to submit to his religion. Their rejecting his religion was the beginning of his hatred of Jews. If it’s a territorial dispute, why are you chopping heads off, raping women in Gaza – this is beyond a dispute. I think Mohammed thought if he could get the Jews to bow down, he could get the Christians. He couldn’t get a Jewish tribe to convert so he took hundreds of their men and beheaded them in ditches, took their women and children, converted their children, raped their women. He even took a few Jewish women as sex slaves. So he hated Jews but he didn’t mind having sex with them. Even after this massive slaughter, he couldn’t get more than 150 people to convert until he was told by Allah that he could start robbing the caravans of the Jews, and start getting power and money and more people to his side. The more Mohamed stole, robbed, became a criminal, the more followers he got in the Arabian area.”
“When Mohamed got more power and money, he got another “revelation” that he can start killing people – submit (which is what islam means – I submit) or kill them.”
“All of Mohamed’s revelations were always convenient. For example, in the quran, he had a step-son who he went to visit at the step-son’s house. He saw his son’s scantily clad wife in the back of the home and the son wasn’t there and so Mohamed had a convenient revelation that he could have her because Allah said so. And even at that time muslims were looking at each other askance like is this guy for real – I’m not sure about this guy. Mohamed is having these convenient revelations whenever he wants something.”
After Jews rejected Mohammed, he started calling them “the descendants of apes and pigs” which created a unique hatred for Jews by muslims.

A very heartfelt thanks for this. A link would have been easy to forward, if there is one. However, some of the points in the interview were new to me. Thanks.

I transcribed this interview above and shared it widely on social media because I felt it was important for non-muslims to know what we are dealing with here and around the world. I can’t thank and commend Mr. Fawstin enough for his bravery and sacrifice to share the truth and to fight evil. We need to stand shoulder to shoulder with Mr. Fawstin and fight back against evil and tyranny in the many forms it is currently manifesting. I don’t know if he is abandoned all religion at this point – but I send my prayers to him and to all the people who are currently being subjected to evil tyranny here and around the world.

I had to smile when I read that, it sums everything up about Islam in a single sentence.Hamas is following Hitler’s playbook when he invaded the USSR in 1941 to the letter, It was a war of extermination, the people in the East were considered by the Nazis to be a sub human species, it was genocide.

And why do we need Palestinian studies taught on American Campuses. Do you suppose China, Russia, Saudi Arabia or Palestine teach American studies on their University campuses ? NO. But we allow these countries to teach and spread their propaganda to our young people. I know they do donate allot of money to our college and Universities for that privilege of indoctrinating our children, so that makes it OK.
