The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has released another report about the California Public School system. In it, it uses its own definition of bullying. From page ten of CAIR’s report:
Bullying may be physical (hitting, kicking, spitting), verbal (teasing, name-calling, threatening), emotional (spreading rumors, manipulating social relationships, intimidating), or cyber (posting hateful/threatening messages online).
Yes, but according to the Public School System, bullying is also systematic and repeated. However, by CAIR’s definition, a hijab pull by a fifth grader, or hurt feelings about Islam, or Palestine, etc. are bullying.
Also from CAIR’s report, page six:
Furthermore, 25% of students reported that an adult at their school made offensive comments or acted in a way that was offensive to Islam/ Muslims.
That is not bullying. That is Muslim fragility being used to penetrate the public school system.
The CAIR 2023 Bullying report recommends:
- Cultural and Religious Literacy (p.23) Translation: CAIR will train you on how to behave.
- “Age-appropriate lesson plans regarding 9/11 would not isolate Muslims and Muslim students, but would invite students of all backgrounds to see themselves as fellow Americans seeking a critical understanding of this tragic event.” (p. 23). Indeed, one of CAIR’s recommended resources is CAIR’s teaching guidelines about 9/11, which stresses that Islam had nothing to do with 9/11.
- “School districts’ curricula must be reviewed and revised to ensure that they are truly inclusive, reflecting the diversity of our society.” (pg. 25) Translation: Include more Islamic proselytizing material.
- “Implement comprehensive, clear anti-bullying policies and procedures that go beyond minimal state regulations.” Translation: CAIR will instruct you in how to make your policies, and bring in its own speakers, and curricula.
- “Ensure that incidents of Islamophobia and other hate-based incidents are swiftly and effectively addressed. No incident should be ignored or dismissed as “kids being kids.” Translation: Non-Muslim children must be punished and made an example of if they bother a Muslim student under whatever circumstances.
In short, CAIR wants access to the kids. No wonder CAIR never discloses its conflict of interest in their report. Indeed, one of CAIR’s recommendations is to report any discrimination or bullying to CAIR itself.
CAIR’s report also recommends the AMALA Hopeline. Here is what the AMALA Hopeline says on its website.
The Muslim American Society Social Services Foundation (MAS-SSF) in Sacramento sponsors and is the mother organization of the AMALA Hopeline. MAS-SSF is a part of MAS Sacramento, which is a local chapter of the national Muslim American Society.”
The Muslim American Society is the Muslim Brotherhood in America. It is one of the founding members of the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations, the Muslim Brotherhood’s political party in America.
CAIR’s other recommendations include the Naseeha-Muslim Helpline, which my copy of Malwarebytes returns with a warning about fraud.
However, Naseeha Mental Health is run by Yassen Poonah. According to his LinkedIn page, he has worked as Public Relations Co-Ordinator for Young Muslims of Canada. This is the Canadian branch of Young Muslims of America, whose partners include:
- The Muslim Student Association (MSA), which is the original Muslim Brotherhood group in this country,
- The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), which was started by the MSA. It is the front for the deadly terrorist group Jamaat-e-Islami.
- Helping Hand for Relief and Development, the overseas charity wing of Jamaat-e-Islami.
- ICNA Relief, one of ICNA’s groups.
- American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), which changed its name from the Islamic Association for Palestine when a jury found the IAP liable in the Hamas drive-by assassination of American citizen David Boim. A judge has given the Boim family the green light to continue their lawsuit against the IAP now AMP. The current Executive Director for CAIR used to work at the IAP.
- The U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations is the Muslim Brotherhood political party in America. All the above organizations are members of the USCMO.
These are the groups that CAIR is putting people in touch with in its report.
A couple of the coauthors of CAIR’s bullying report, Dr. Hatem Bazian, and Dr. Rania Awaad, also deserve a look.
Rania Awaad
Substack author Ahmed Shaikh writes about Rania Awaad torturing her data in a research letter.
Reminiscent of the CAIR’s claims about public school students bullying Muslim students at twice the rate of other groups, Rania Awaad also coauthored a letter claiming Muslims commit suicide at twice the rate of other groups. “Who Lied about Muslim Suicide?” by Ahmed Shaikh, March 3, 2023:
In 2021, JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) Psychiatry published a research letter with a shocking conclusion: Muslims are twice as likely to attempt suicide as people of other faiths or those who have no faith at all.
The authors hyped this lie in the media, and raised money, including zakat from the Muslim public. They took full advantage of conflicts of interest they obviously had but did not bother to disclose. The authors also attacked a Muslim scholar for lying and spreading disinformation when they knew he was telling the truth and privately admitted as much. They then brazenly doctored the results of a p-value to make themselves look good, right in plain sight.
This conduct should be impossible to defend.
That was one of the coauthors of CAIR’s report.
Another is Hatem Bazian.
In addition to co-founding the American Muslims for Palestine, he also founded the pro-Hamas Students for Justice in Palestine. In 2010, Taher Herzallah was part of the Irvine 11, a group of hecklers who disrupted a speech by Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren at the University of California Irvine.
According to Canary Mission:
During Oren’s speech, Herzallah stood up [00:05:48], shouted at Oren that he was a “mass murderer” and was then escorted out by police. Other students did the same thing, including one who accused [00:06:48] Oren of being “an accomplice to genocide.”
That is only one of several times Taher Herzallah has disrupted a public speaker who is addressing an audience. And he has been an employee of American Muslims for Palestine for thirteen years.
So Hatem Bazian is presuming to tell us about bullying in schools while his employee of thirteen years has been doing just that on multiple occasions, to the point that police have arrested him.
CAIR’s report is an attempt to burnish its own image, penetrate the public school system, and fundraise.
As Ahmed Shiekh said:
If you have an organization that advocates for the perspective that Muslim mental health is in horrible shape and your organization can help if more people send you money (especially Zakat), that may well color your findings.
The same applies to CAIR’s report. It has a vested interest in evidence, real or not, that Muslim children are in need of CAIR.

I guess if one insists the earth is round, and not flat as the Koran says, you’re guilty of bullying Muslims.
