Land Acknowledgement
Located near the confluence of several waterways, Chicago sits on land that intersects with the aboriginal homelands of several tribal nations: the Council of the Three Fires: the Potawatomi, Odawa, and Ojibwe Nations; the Illinois Confederacy: the Peoria and Kaskaskia Nations; and the Myaamia, Wea, Thakiwaki, and Meskwaki Nations. The Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Kiikaapoi, and Mascouten Nations also call the region of northeast Illinois home. Indigenous people continue to live in this area and celebrate their traditional teachings and lifeways. Today, Chicago is home to one of the largest urban Indigenous communities in the United States, and this land remains an important place for Indigenous peoples. Land Acknowledgement
Located on the edge of the eastern Mediterranean and bounded on the east by the Jordan River, the Land of Israel, Eretz Israel, includes present-day Israel, with all of Judea and Samaria (the West Bank), as well as Gaza and the Golan, sitting on land that has been the aboriginal homeland of the Jewish people for the past 3500 years. Indigenous Jews have continued to live on the land continuously, albeit at times in small numbers, ever since. They have revived the land, and made the desert bloom where, in the 19th century, the land was a place of “desolation and waste.” Since the mid-twentieth century, Jews have arrived in significantly greater numbers than before, both from Europe, where some had survived the Holocaust, and from Arab lands, where Jews had endured persecution and pogroms, to find their only certain refuge, and to help rebuild their ancient homeland, where they are now able to celebrate their traditional teachings and lifeways. Today Israel is home to one-half of the world’s Jewish population, and has become a world leader in many fields of science, technology, medicine, and agriculture, in ways that have benefited the whole of humanity. Thank you for that. I always enjoy reading anything that is from the Bible. It’s the Source of so much I have learned about life and how to live it. As well as the Source for knowledge of the Land of Israel and its people.
It’s really too bad, and incredibly sad that so many refuse to acknowledge the Truth about the Land of Israel. If they started with that, they could realize just what the mozlums are trying to do.
Emmet Veritas says
Why is it bounded in the East by the Jordan River?
The original borders of Mandatory Palestine were taken from the Torah/ancient writings.
Transjordan is Jewish territory, and the Jews are the indigenous people.
Further, according to my reading, the so-called Council of the Three Fires were Atlantic tribes that migrated west doing what all left-loved “innocents” do and killed-off indigenous populations.

Yes, so-called Indian lands were always fluid well before Europeans stepped foot upon the Americas.

Comanche: The Most Powerful Native American Tribe In History
From the link below. Comanches evolved into a force of violence that no one could withstand. They waged war on everyone who came into contact with them—and usually won. One reason for this success was their brutality.

Perhaps the Comanch should have done like the Apaches did when facing the Comanches and beg the Spanish for help, or maybe not.

“Transjordan is Jewish territory, and the Jews are the indigenous people.”
Israel lacks the guts even to declare its territory is “From the River to the Sea”. You should only live long enough to that fulfilled.
James Hoagland says
It may be a lack of courage but I prefer to think it is a lack of faith. And for a lack of faith there can be harsh punishment. The covenant with Abraham was continued with/extended to Noah. This is in effect for if it were not the Hebrews could not have survived some 5784 years.
somehistory says
Noah came before Abraham. Noah, his wife. sons, and daughters-in-law survived the Flood because they were obedient and showed faith. Through them came all other people who have lived.(Genesis 6…the time of Noah)
Abraham also was obedient and faithful and God made out of Him a great nation. And ‘by means of him’ great numbers of people have eternal life offered. This was a ‘promise’ or “covenant,” a contract between God and Abraham. (Genesis 18…the time of Abraham)
the promises made to Abraham, were added to and extended in the time of Moses (the Law) and of David (a Kingdom)
and fulfilled in Christ (A King and Priest according to the manner of Melchizedek) and then Jesus concluded a new “covenant” with His disciples.
Mark says
Two Jewish tribes have their land portion on the eastern side of Jordan river and one tribe has their half portion on the eastern side of Jordan river . G-d made this partition in the Bible .
Dave says
IIsrael lacks the guts even to declare its territory is “From the River to the Sea”. You should only live long enough to that fulfilled. One can make a strong logical argument that east of the Jordan is NOT part of the land given by God to the Jews: Moses was not allowed to enter the land. Moses was buried in the land given to the 2 1/2 tribes. Therefore, that land was NOT part of the land given to the Jews by God.
James Hoagland says
Dave I think you need to read what has been accepted as coming from the Creator. Moses was not allowed to enter because of disobedience and anger, You may read genesis 16 more carefully and understand what the Arab hordes fear and of what the muslim is jealous and resentful.
somehistory says
would you mind, Dave, giving the Bible verse that tells us where Moses was buried?
Because one Verse says this about Moses death and burial.
“So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. And he buried him in the valley in the land of Moab over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.—Deuteronomy 34:5-6.
The “land of Moab” was not a part of what became Israel,
but the part given to the two tribes who saw how good was the land east of the Jordan, was a part of Israel. Moses was not buried there.
Moses died before the people entered the Land God was giving them.

Israel the only tiny land Jews had from time immemorial. The only land Jews from around the world call home. Similarly, India is the only devine land for Hindus worldwide. But Muslims cannot digest this despite 56 Islamic Islamic countries and more occupied lands in the name of Ummah or Caliphate. Rest of the world must unite against Islam.

Brilliant article. Using Communist ideology against their own. Thank you.

Actually, the true indigenous people who occupied the land in the middle east that was given to the Israelites, were the Kenites, Kennezites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaim, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites, and Jebusites. Gen 15:19-21
somehistory says
The “land” belongs, as does the whole earth, to its Maker. He gave it to the children of Jacob as He promised to Abraham. More than 400 years later, after the promise to Abraham, the sons of Israel (Jacob) came to possess the land.
He did not give it to those who would do as those you listed would do…spill innocent blood in the worship of false and evil ‘gods.’ Therefore, it never has “belonged” to mozlums.
That is what is most important when considering what happens in the Land of Israel.
