The announcement of a new appointee tasked with “combatting Islamophobia” comes from the same Department of Heritage that propelled the anti-islamophobia Motion M103 , a 23-million-dollar project which was imposed upon Canadians who do not have an “Islamophobia” problem.
The agents of these Islamophobia drives keep watch over Canada’s 38 million people to make sure that none of them step out of line. Ever.
Canada has experienced a list of worrying trends regarding jihadists and Islamic supremacists, including hate preaching and incitement, but none of it matters to those who are determined to drive the “Islamophobia” subterfuge into the heart of the nation. Meanwhile, Canada continues to fling its doors wide open to mass and unvetted Muslim migration.
There is no consideration or sympathy for Christians facing persecution by Muslims. They are not on the welcome list. But even Islamic State fighters are. The Canadian government decided to deport an ex-Muslim family that converted to Christianity, even though they face certain death upon return. The family was last reported to be living in hiding to avoid Trudeau’s deportation order back to Nigeria, which is now in the throes of a jihadist genocide against Christians.
Ahmed Hussen, the Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion, explained that the Special Representative on Combatting Islamophobia “appointment will be part of a renewed Government of Canada Anti-Racism Strategy.” Ahmed Hussen is Canada’s former immigration Minister; he sought to “massively ramp up” refugee intake, and that he did, without proper vetting. A Muslim migrant in Toronto who joined an al-Quds rally once stated that “Canada is a white supremacist, racist project. I don’t consider myself to be Canadian.” But who’s watching?
Hussen has long sought to “lead the charge” on the UN’s global migration pact.
The government also previously announced that it intended to “make January 29 a National Day of Remembrance of the Québec City Mosque Attack and Action against Islamophobia.”
“The Government of Canada Intends to Appoint a Special Representative on Combatting Islamophobia,” Government of Canada Press Release, January 28, 2022:
From: Canadian Heritage
News release
OTTAWA, January 28, 2022Islamophobia and hate, in any form, have no place in Canada.
Today, the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion, highlighted the federal government’s intention to appoint a special representative on combatting Islamophobia.
This appointment will be part of a renewed Government of Canada Anti-Racism Strategy.
Last year, the Government announced its intention to make January 29 a National Day of Remembrance of the Québec City Mosque Attack and Action against Islamophobia.
This year, on the eve of the five-year anniversary of this act of terror, the Government of Canada stands with and supports Muslim communities across Canada and reaffirms its commitment to take action to denounce and tackle Islamophobia and hate-fueled violence.
Islamophobia is a concrete and daily reality for Muslim communities across Canada and around the world. As we honour the victims, we must remember that we have a responsibility to combat discrimination and continue to build a more inclusive Canada.
That is why the federal government held a virtual National Summit on Islamophobia in July 2021.
The special representative appointment is one of the recommendations put forward during the Summit and will be an additional step in the government’s ongoing work through the Canada’s Anti-Racism Strategy to tackle Islamophobia in all its forms.
Confronting Islamophobia is an important part of this Strategy. It includes a whole-of-government approach to tackling systemic racism with dedicated knowledge and expertise through the Federal Anti-Racism Secretariat, as well as investments to empower communities to combat different forms of racism, including Islamophobia, and to advance digital and civic literacy initiatives that
address online disinformation and hate speech. We are committed to renewing the Anti-Racism Strategy in 2022 with a National Action Plan to expand our efforts to combat hate and racism. Details on the role and mandate of the special representative will be confirmed at a later date.
Quotes
“In Canada, diversity is a fact but inclusion is a choice. The recent hate crimes fueled by Islamophobia in Canada and around the world remind us of the need to show even more boldness, strength and determination in our fight against hate. We have listened to the lived experiences of Muslim communities from across the country who called for a special representative on combatting Islamophobia. This appointment will be another important step to building a safer and more inclusive Canada for everyone.”
—The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion
“After the London terror attack, we called for action. Specifically, we asked the government to build out a special office tasked to dismantle Islamophobia. We are pleased to see the Government of Canada commit to building out this office, and while there is much left to do, this is an important step.”
—Mustafa Farooq, CEO of the National Council of Canadian Muslims
Quick facts
- As defined in Canada’s Anti-Racism Strategy, Islamophobia “includes racism, stereotypes, prejudice, fear or acts of hostility directed towards individual Muslims or followers of Islam in general. In addition to individual acts of intolerance and racial profiling, Islamophobia can lead to viewing and treating Muslims as a greater security threat on an institutional, systemic and societal level.”
- On July 22, 2021, the Government of Canada hosted a National Summit on Islamophobia, which helped to identify ways the federal government could work with Muslim communities to implement federal anti-racism initiatives that specifically address Islamophobia and hate-fueled violence.
- In the 2021 Speech from the Throne, the Government reiterated its commitment to combatting hate and racism, including with a renewed Anti-Racism Strategy.
- In 2021, the Government of Canada provided more than $6 million in funding to 150 projects to support communities at risk of hate-motivated crime through the Communities at Risk: Security Infrastructure Program (SIP).
- In 2021, we added additional ideology-motivated violence extremist groups to the Criminal Code list of terrorist entities. Consult the news release on this subject.

This sounds to me like banning any and all question or discussion on Jihads and/or Sharia. Another dangerous step taken by Liberals and the left to our once great country.

i thought sweden was the most islamolusting country by far but it seems canada is competing with them…. its a race to suicide therefore in canada as well… all these islamolusting countries mean the end of the white population, as the racism story has been told part of gebels technic, and the real and great racism is against the white from all the rest of the races, as is found in the criminal percentages in most countries….. crimes against white people, from other ethnic origin people are 90% of the criminal activity…

It is an amazing scam where Muslims behave appallingly over and over again and criticism of the evils that are so fundamental to islam gets this tag of being “Islamophobia’. Islam is repulsive and barbaric in so many ways and deserves to be constantly criticised. Long live Islamophobia. Canada seems pathetically politically correct, but I think the people there just voted Trudeau and his mob back into power so they get the government they deserve. Same in any democracy.
Wellington says
Agreed. tim. The continued exculpation of Islam in our silly era arguably represents the single greatest scam in history. I challenge anyone to present me with a better example, historically speaking—over the longest period of time and all that—of a greater scam than the excusing of pure evil which is the Islamic faith. This rot of excusing Islam has been going on since the 1960’s and there is no end in sight.
Aiding this “superb” scam is a plethora of Western Leftist idiots and way too many Western non-Leftists who remain comfortable in their willful ignorance and thus, no escaping this, are parasites of liberty as much as the “active” Leftists are. The former are culpable due to active complicity with evil and the latter are culpable by way of apathy and willful ignorance towards evil. I despise both but sometimes it is deuce difficult to determine which of which two groups is more worthy of condemnation. Well, reasonable minds can differ, preferably over fine beer and delicious pork products—but I digress.
Always good to read your posts, tim. I would like to meet you someday. I think that would be a good thing. May never happen but it should.

I agree with what you say there, Wellington. We tend to see the world in same way. I have said many times over here at Jihad watch, that most of my siblings and friends are actually left wingers. They are very decent people, often better than I will ever be, so I don’t get too angry at their left wing attitudes. I have one fellow conservative friend, from way back at school and we get together every few months. and discuss the sorry state of the world. I suspect that if you and I ever did meet up, our discussion would be similar to the discussions I have with that conservative friend of mine. In real life, I’d say I’m not imposing and something of a depressive. I probably come across better here on Jihad Watch than in real life. A couple of years ago, I put up a couple of songs on youtube, I mentioned this to gravenimage who looked at this song. So, if you want to know what I look like, you can probably find me singing a Vince Gill song called “Go Rest High on that mountain”. He wrote it when his brother died. I think it’s a good song. Google “tim gallagher cover of vince gill’s song go rest high on that mountain youtube” and you should find it. I enjoy writing songs these days and I’m pretty happy with quite a few of them. Nothing political, just love songs, happy and sad. I’m hoping to get some reasonably well known singer out here in Australia to record one or two of them. Since I am 71 years old, it doesn’t matter too much if it doesn’t happen, but it’s a bit of a dream.. I enjoy your comments, Wellington, and those of quite a few others here.. We both appreciate the good things about western civilisation and can see through a lot of the idiotic bullshit that gets around these days. All the best to you and your family..

tim,
Your cover of Vince Gill’s “Go Rest High on That Mountain” is excellent!
It’s in your own style, which is great – and complements your excellent and very soulful singing voice.
As a side note, I took my son to see Vince Gill several years ago and he played that song to close out his concert.
Brought tears to my eyes.

Brilliant stuff Tim I’m very impressed, you play and sing with feeling. As a musician myself I can tell that everything is coming straight from heart. If you play from the heart it’s obvious to me that you also write from the heart. I’m looking forward to checking your songs out. Keep it up Tim for you may well produce a hit one day.
tim gallagher says
Thanks, James. I have come across lots of songs and performers on youtube in the past 5 or 6 years, including Vince Gill. He has a superb singing voice and I like several of his songs, I suppose mainly “Whenever You Come Around”, which I sing and play. On youtube, he does “Go Rest High on that Mountain” in a concert at Carnegie Hall with Alison Krauss and Ricky Skaggs and i think that is where i really came to like that song. Superb performance by the three of them. There are many people I like but, over a long period of time, from abck in the late 1970s I probably like Emmylou Harris most as a singer, also I like Rodney Crowell as a songwriter and as a singer. The first singer i can remember liking was Roy Orbison who I still think was superb, but there a many singers , musicians and songwriters that I like.and many styles of music.
tim gallagher says
Thanks very much, john. I used to sing with a friend of mine years ago. He was a good musician but couldn’t sing well ( the luck of the game to some degree I think). I was a hopeless musician. I enjoy trying to write songs these days. I suppose I had thought that i could write lyrics, but, and sometimes I am as dumb as can be, I never thought I could write the music, well, really the chords. It is only really the internet that made me realise that I could write songs. When I found out that you could google “What are the chords for” pretty much any song and I began to check out the chords for songs I liked, then I saw how easy the chords were and which chords went together, and I thought, hey, i can have a go at that. In the past 2 years or so, I have written maybe 80 or so songs. I think a few of them at least are pretty good. It would be nice if someone recorded them, not because i care about money or royalties, but I think, well it’s odd to be writing songs and almost nobody is hearing them. Still it’s enjoyable writing them. Good luck with your own music career. I hope it is going well.
john smith says
Tim I’m not a professional musician it’s not my career, though I did play in a few bands when I was younger I am an amateur. I had a nasty accident about ten years ago when I fell off a ladder, and sustained multiple fractures in my hand. I thought I’d never be able to play again. But over the years it gradually came back to me to some degree. These days I just play just for self entertainment.
Keep up with the song writing Tim you never know, it only takes one song, and one song could change your whole life.
tim gallagher says
Sorry to hear about your accident, john. The damage the accident caused sounds horrendous. It’s good that you have been able to get back to playing music again. I’ll keep on writing songs as long as I keep getting decent ideas. Who knows what might happen? I’d be happy if one or two of the songs I have written were played by better known people. There are lots of songs I like, and I said a while back to a friend of mine that I’d be happy if I could write a couple of songs that I think are up there with the songs that I think are very good. Regardless of whether that ever happens, it is enjoyable writing songs.
gravenimage says
Great exchange. You are a talented guy, Tim.
tim gallagher says
Thanks, gravenimage. you are a supportive and positive type of person. I hope your own visual art work is going well. I will go on trying to write some good songs as it is something that i enjoy doing and I keep getting ideas, although my songs may be getting a bit repetitive. I’m sure some of them a pretty good. I usually run them by one of my sisters as an average, intelligent kind of person, and, if she thinks they are OK, then I’m happy with them because she would say, in a gentle way, if she thought they were no good. It’s funny, I was never getting anywhere with guitar playing and then my finger tips on my left hand got really wrecked. It turns out I have osteoporosis, which I guess caused the problem, so I only play an electronic keyboard now, for the past year or so, and am a far better player on that instrument. Having my finger tips getting wrecked turned out well. Just one of those happy accidents that sometimes happen..
gravenimage says
Tim, glad you were able to take a terrible situation and turn it around.
tim gallagher says
Thanks, gravenimage. Yes, it is strange the way that worked out. I was never going to get anywhere as a guitar player and as a keyboard player I’d say I’m a hundred times better. It has just clicked. So it did turn out well. I never liked dairy foods much and I think that that, and maybe genetics, have ruined my bones. Thanks for the tip about contacting Marc about Plesk. He seems to have fixed it. I’ll send him a thank you message.
gravenimage says
Tim, so glad about Marc and Plesk. He has certainly helped me with some techinical problems over the years–and he is very patient, given I am a bit tech challenged.
Dairy isn’t necesarily needed for strong bones–deep leafy greens can be as good or better. But most people with osteoartritis are genetically prone to it–I think mineral deficiencies are much rarer.
Let me know about that other email.
tim gallagher says
gravenimage, that problem with Plesk was fixed instantly by Marc. I sent him a thank you email, not certain it got through. It was an odd thing but he fixed it immediately. On the osteoporosis, I do eat a pretty good diet with plenty of vegetables and green leafy stuff. My mother had osteoporosis pretty badly. I have a wonderful doctor, one of the nicest people I have ever met, a Buddhist from BanglaDesh, and she sent me to get the bone scan. It is part of free checks we get out here at age 70, same with shingles inoculation, etc, and I have to say that I never would have thought of checking for osteoporosis because I did think it was mainly something that afflicted women. Anyway, so far it has been no big deal. I get a Prolia injection every 6 months and take a calcium tablet each day. Good to know about it, so i don’t find out when I break a bone. Thanks again for the tip about contacting Marc.

Gotta’ give Islam this much, to wit, that there is no malevolent and freedom-destroying ideology in all of man’s history over the longest period of time that has kept using freedom as cleverly as Islam has to ultimately destroy freedom and thereafter implement all its malevolencies—and yet all along posing as some kind of positive to the many dhimmi rubes who buy into this Islamic nefariousness, never mind all the brainwashed Muslims of the “moderate” type that stupidly think that Islam and liberty can be reconciled.
Here, thus, verily, etc., Islam is simply superb at the disguise of its real intentions. By now, every adult non-Muslim should know this (and Muslim fools like Dr. Oz as well).
No excuse for Islam. None of any kind. Now or ever.
Jim says
For some reason, fighting Islamophobia always makes me think they really want to facilitate anti-Christianism and anti-Semitism. There is no great amount of prejudice against Islam. What there is should be understood as a justifiable critique of Islam, but the way to end this criticism is to end the jihads, terror attacks on Christians, Jews, Hindus, and the West. The good Muslims should ally with the West to fight against jihad. The Abraham Accord was a step in the right direction. But Biden and co. do not want that, they prefer helping Iran and other anti-American countries to expand their influence in the world.

Canada to appoint Special Representative on Combatting ‘Islamophobia’
…………..
Of course, no one in Canada is going to try and prevent criticism of Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, or any other faith–*nor should they*.
But there are endless attempts to criminalize any criticism of Islam.
Note that this is also orthodox Islam–under Shari’ah no criticism or even questioning of Islam is allowed. Utter madness that we are imposing these blasphemy laws here in the civilized West.
Pray Hard says
Idiots.
Major Tom says
If you had any doubts about Canada being in Dhimmi status……think again!
OLD GUY says
What the hell happened to Canada? And just what justifies Islam having its own phobia? So that nobody can say anything about its violence and murder or rape of others.
I guess if Christians and others committed violence, murder and rape against Muslims/Islamic followers we too could get phobia status.
What a concept preach hate, violence, rape and murder and you become a special protected class in Canadian society.
Del says
This is disgusting and very offensive. Special treatment by professional whiners. Any complaints that Muslims might have are handled quite nicely under current laws and regulations.
Muslims might want to read Sections 318 & 319 of the Criminal Code of Canada to see how the Koran clearly meets the definition of hate literature. According to those Sections, the Koran must be banned.

Nice to know that, on a global scale, the British government isn’t the only employer of idiots!

If only–but this is grimly widespread.
