Turkey is reportedly facing scrutiny for “offering to mediate the crisis in Israel” because it previously hosted senior members of Hamas. But that’s not all that should immediately disqualify Turkey from any consideration for a mediation role. In 2019, it was revealed that Turkey was allowing senior Hamas operatives to plot jihad attacks against Israel from Istanbul. Then in mid-August of 2020, Turkey was accused of giving citizenship to Hamas members who were planning jihad terror attacks, which Turkey denied. Just over a week after that, Turkish President Erdogan hosted a large Hamas delegation, including wanted jihad terrorists who murdered Israelis. And then in 2022, Turkey refused Israel’s request to expel Hamas, stating that it didn’t view the group as terrorist. Erdogan has also called Israel’s response to Hamas in Gaza a “massacre.” It was Hamas that carried out a massacre, while Israel fights for its right to exist.
Turkey has no place in any negotiations involving the Israel-Hamas war. It is also a strong Muslim Brotherhood supporter; Hamas is a Brotherhood offshoot.
But expect just about anything since Biden is in the Oval Office. The Turkish government is expanding its influence in the U.S. It recently purchased a multimillion-dollar building in Washington.
“Turkey Faces Scrutiny for Hosting Hamas Leaders,” by Dorian Jones, VOA News, October 12, 2023:
Turkey is offering to mediate the crisis in Israel. But Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan faces growing international scrutiny for hosting senior members of Hamas, designated by the U.S. and others as a terrorist organization. Dorian Jones reports from Istanbul.

This would be a bit like the TR video of a kalashnikov earring-wearing muslima fervently practicing taqiyah to tell us that islam is peaceful, hamas did none of what they’ve admitted and filmed themselves doing, and how the world just doesn’t understand and must be educated. At the barrel end of a kalasnikov, I’m guessing.
Alley cat says
Turkey really ? Revelation 2:12-17 woe onto you Pergamun ( Turkey) . I know thy works , the seat of Satan.
somehistory says
turkey wants to be a mediator between hamas and Israel.
That would be a ravenous grizzly mediating between another bear and a sheep.
Mediating has gone on nearly every time recently. Cease-fire, talk about it, the mozlum scum claims they will observe the agreement, but lies with those claims. they use the cease-fire to rebuild their supplies of weapons and make new plans.
John Smith says
I knew it was only a matter of time before Erdogan started to stick his megalomaniac jihadi nose into things. As we all know here, Erdogan has aspirations of reviving the ottoman empire with him being the caliph. Israel was once part of that empire and he wants it back.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I believe he is the most dangerous man on the planet.

Great analogy somehistory!

Thank you very much, GE.
I hope you and the Emperor are staying safe.
GreekEmpress says
Totally in agreement Mr. Smith +1
Hoi Polloi says
I agree. I have long thought it’s ridiculous to lay that one on Putin while Erdogan is what he is; a very dangerous man.

I won’t accept that we have a serious foreign policy establishment until they openly accept the fact that Turkey is an enemy, and start campaigning to remove either Turkey or the US from NATO
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
Turkey became a member of NATO in 1952, and things were different then. They wanted a security guarantee against a Soviet invasion.
With Erdogan, present day Turkey is now an enemy of the West.
What would be the ramifications if the US decided to leave NATO?
OLD GUY says
Trust Turkey? NO!
And while we are at it, why are we selling property, buildings, businesses to foreign governments or their citizens? It appears that good old America is FOR SALE to the highest bidder. So let’s open our borders and sell our country and then wonder what went wrong, and we trust those who represent us to be looking out for us? They are mostly looking out for their own wallet first.
Seems like the law and rules that make the most sense never get voted on or passed.
Memi says
Absolutely do NOT trust Turkey which is the main supporter of Hamas (offshoot of its Muslim Brotherhood that destabilized Egypt under Morsi) giving them Turkish passports to occupied north Cyprus and money (from Qatar & Turkey) with which Hamas terrorists in Istanbul live lives of luxury! The son of Haniyeh, leader of Hamas, is a Turkish citizen. Turkey also did the 2nd Armenian genocide by its terrorist proxy, Azerbaijan, displacing 150,000 Armenians from heir ancestral homes.
Egypt is afraid of accepting Gazans as Hamas threatens its peace and so do even the Saudi Arabas who don’t want them to destabilize them. No Arab country wants the Hamas terrorists on their land but would rather push them to the U.S. and EY as “refugees”!!
Gourdhead says
Why in the world are these animals allowed as a NATO member?
